I saw it five minutes ago, and it was pretty damn kick ass. But man, it’s been a while since a movie’s ending made me think “Bitch, what the F***?” internally. It was a great setup for the next movie though.

It was a great setup for the next movie though. Honestly, the last time I felt like that about a movie was actually John Wick 2. Like, for the story it made sense looking back. At the time, though? Holy shit.

The ending has me so hyped for another one that I’ll be devastated if we don’t end up getting a sequel. Might be the hype at ending to a movie I’ve seen tbh.

I seriously didn't think I would be around to see the third one. It hurts just thinking of waiting for a fourth one. On a not so depressing note, I did like the knife throwing scene. it reminded me of a food fight but with less blood.

Fourth one has to be the last one. My mans John deserves a happy ending.

This movie, like the other two, kicks ass. I had so much fun watching this. At this rate, they can make 100 of these and I'll be there for every single one of them.
A lady in our theater gasped and left after the initial fight scene involving the book. Makes me question what she expected/had she even watched the other two movies.

So far, John Wick has made a total of around $150m, domestically and internationally combined.
Pretty sure we’re getting a John Wick Chapter 4...

I enjoyed it but the ending left me thinking of paraphrasing Kevin Smith's great response to being offered a Beetlejuice sequel.
Haven't we said everything about John Wick in the first 3?

This was a f***ing bad ass movie. Really loved it and I think it's already one of my favorite action movies of all-time.
That early fight scene with all the knives and the axe was excellent.
So pumped for #4!

Simply amazing movie.
The sheer raw artistry on display with the locations is impeccable.
Here’s how ridiculously good the settings were. They not only were just absolutely gorgeous, but they perfectly utilized all of them to their full potential during the fight scenes, meaning while doing conception for the sets they also had to answer, “Ok, exactly how will this work with the fight scenes?”. If anything I’d go as far as to say the fight scenes were probably built around the sets. Like they came up with the sets first and then figured out, “Ok so we have all these particular toys here, how can we play with them?”
This is not simply put a “mindless, but fun action movie” like I’ve seen a lot of critics call it. This is genuinely a work of art perfectly melding location and choreography, and I just don’t know what to say to those who boil it down to just being a dumb action flick.

Such a great movie.
It's super frustrating to hear people call them "mindless" as though there isn't a ton of work that goes into the directing and choreography. Movies are more than just their story.
Favorite fight scene was the one with the dogs in Casablanca, but it is hard to pick. Amazing series.

Favorite fight scene was the one with the dogs in Casablanca, but it is hard to pick. Amazing series. It was a really put together fight scene. {Spoiler} The first person shot of Halle running across whilst two of her dogs attack people on her left and right after she tried shooting them....*chef kiss*

Just got home from it. Holy shit YES, how does this franchise keep getting better and better? As of right now, I would put this as better than Chapter 2. Thinking about it, Chapter 2 made John into more of an inhuman superhero but with the story that this tells, it definitely makes John more vulnerable obviously. But yeah, we’re all here to watch heads getting shot and there’s plenty of that in spades. The action is top notch like everybody believes and I just love how visceral it gets. The first 20-25 minutes alone tells you that. {Spoiler}John with the knife towards that guy’s eye. My theater was like “Oh god don’t do it, he’s not going to do it, he’s noOHMYGODWHYYYYY?!” It was f***ing brutal. Bring the hell on more of this.

I do think this film caps off a trilogy rather well. Man got out. Random event is call to action. Over the course of the three films he is tested, and by the end of this one he is back to the Baba Yaga of old. It’s a great progression in that way.

Over the course of the three films he is tested, and by the end of this one he is back to the Baba Yaga of old. It’s a great progression in that way. It’s also a really great world building trilogy that leaves stuff open for the future. The first one was about John getting back in because of events he did that managed to take him out from the business and it’s the first time we hear about the assassin system that fuels the world. The second is basically them detailing how this whole world works and what people in the system can get access to and then yanking that away because of events John does. The third... {Spoiler}is about the rules and boundaries of that system and how strict the High Table are about people who break them and the ending is the capper that makes you, the viewer, realize how messed up the system is when good friends stab you in the back to retain the status quo.
Which leads to Chapter 4 where now Wick and his hobo army are setting out to completely wreck the system in place. I really hope this Continental series is being worked on because man, I want to find out more about this world and the people in it. It’s one of the best examples of world building I’ve seen in media for years.

Saw this on Friday, loved it as I did the other two.
After thinking about it a few days, I've come to a conclusion, possibly a controversial one. If everyone involved can keep up the current level of quality and nail the eventual ending, I think John Wick will go down as legitimately the best action film series ever. Not one of the best, but the best.

People gutturally reacted to every kill, all the comedic beats(intentional or otherwise {Spoiler}{Spoiler}(such as when one of the dogs kept tugging on the arm of a dead guy for waaaaay too long) ) were received with great laughter, they were just all in on the proceedings and it was great. Honestly best crowd I’ve watched a movie with all year. Yes even better than the audiences at all 3 Endgame screenings I went to.
