I’m assuming everything but the last bit with the faces in the ring is going to be shown on YouTube or something.

I really don’t care what anyone says. The Gargano/Ciampa storyline has jumped 5 sharks Its one of the most needlessly convoluted and dumb stories I have ever seen. I’m digging it, but this needs to end. I’m thinking it’ll be champ vs champ at Wrestlemania Takeover then the loser will get called up. This can’t turn into Owens/Zayn.

Let me go ahead and put my tinfoil/crackhead/kayfabe hat on for a second.
Those two smart boys planned this. Yknow those weird booking plans that have wrestler 1 attack wrestler 2 before being revealed that both 1 and 2 were in cahoots? A means to an end. They never got the attention in the tag division, so what did they do? Stage a breakup before finally leading to both dudes gaining singles gold, causing them to finally get their respect and to finally “Takeover” NXT.

And so, the era of the two man power trip 2.0 has begun. For now....

Big brawl segment going on off-air with Johnny, Ciampa, Black, Adam Cole, and Velveteen Dream. Goes to Gorilla, but Triple H breaks it up. Brawl heads back to ringside and heels are cleared out. .. Of course they are

Isn’t it sad times when you hope your favourite guys don’t get called up? Wrestling is messed up.

So over Ciampa’s title run. Between his wrestling having all the excitement and athleticism of heel Bobby Roode, coupled with how dumb and convoluted this Gargano storyline is, the guy is just lame right now. Good promos but that’s pretty much it.
Tonight was a total two match show, but those two matches (War Raiders/Undisputed and Ricochet/Gargano) were excellent, so thumbs up overall.

They got a few different directions they can go here... Do they go Champion v Champion? Do they officially reunite and team up against War Raiders to complete the set? Do we get all these other guys from the dark brawl involved for a big ol’ multi man?
Like, I think they’ve dragged this out too long already, but whatever match happens should still be very good.

Assuming the post-show brawl is setting up a future match, that could be a match for New York.

Its a backstabbing maniac fighting a lying, sneak attacking weasel. How is that an exciting outcome when the story was absolutely perfect only a year ago?

I really don’t care what anyone says. The Gargano/Ciampa storyline has jumped 5 sharks Its one of the most needlessly convoluted and dumb stories I have ever seen. It should have ended a full year ago at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans with their 'unsanctioned match'. Everything after that has been pretty pointless, IMO.

It wasn't quite on par with the last couple Takeovers, but it was still able to deliver like they always do.

I don't think they need a "the break up was staged" excuse. Gargano never faked being a good guy. What happened was being "Johnny Failure" during his feud with Ciampa made him realize that good is dumb and that being evil like Ciampa was the right way to go all along.
