Ever seen a match coming where you think "yeah, that'll be good" sarcastically, only to be surprised by how good it actually is? Like Abyss/Tomko, or Headbangers/Los Boricuas for example.
Inspired by watching a bunch of old Velocity episodes on YouTube. A-Train and Funaki clearly really enjoyed wrestling each other and have a number of fun big man v cruiserweight matches. 28th Dec 2002 and 21st September 2002 episodes for example.
What are other examples of this odd couple trope?

Cena and Khali actually had a pretty good match.

'Taker/Batista. Their Wrestlemania one in particular was far better than it had any right to be

I think Reigns / Braun counts. I'd consider them both limited at best in the ring but most of their matches were a lot of fun, though I've not seen the Hell in a Cell.

Lesnar vs anybody less then 220lbs seems lame yet those are all his best matches. They sound like squashes on paper but end up being fun to watch.

Ronnie Garvin vs Greg Valentine
It's a very underrated feud, but it had nuclear heat.
They were able to get massive crowd reactions just from two leg braces.

Dean's listed at 225! Ha true. But he was a skinny weed when he faced Brock. For sure under 200 In my opinion (then). Wish he would have been more like his current shape then

John Cena and Umaga-I remember not looking forward to this match at all and it ended up being way better than I thought it would be.

Show/Sheamus is def the first name I thought of in regards to this
Randy Orton vs Big Guys - He's had a few good matches against guys much bigger than him. His selling usually helps in this regard but obviously early in his career he had the Taker match and a few years ago he had good matches against Khali and Mark Henry
Reigns/Braun - They always beat the shit out each other and generally have entertaining matches sans that last Hell in A Cell

Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss have good chemistry in the ring and considering their has been beef between them I assume this is one of those things where the added animosity adds to the match unlike CM Punk/Elijah Burke who didn't like each other and both basically tried to one up each other being an ass in the ring
