King kong bundy (as well as Greg valentine) were scheduled to appear at a comic con in Frankfort ky. Went for bundy but he didn't show. Seems to be mixed if it was bundys fault or the promoter. Has anyone heard of this behavior from bundy? I was refused a refund and I am ticked off. Anyone have any idea of something like this? Contact info for bundy? Similar experiences?

King Kong Bundy is a very nice man and also very professional.
I was friends with Nikolai Volkoff and attended many autograph shows with him and I got to meet Bundy several times and can attest that he is a dedicated guy who takes bookings seriously. The only way I can see him not attending the convention (and he would have given the promoter proper notice) is if the promoter was flakey about the money or wouldn't be able to come through with the money.
Not saying the promoter was sketchy but I've been in enough situations near Bundy to know that he wouldn't no show purposely or even accidently unless something wasn't working on the promoter's end.

Off-topic, I remind everyone that King Kong Bundy is a legend in this business. Bundy kicked ass on The Road Warriors as their careers all rose. The tag team of Bundy and Big John Studd (R.I.P.) gave all of The Machines headaches, all of them.

Still no definitive statements from either party.
Greg looks like hot death. Moves like he's 1000 and couldn't look less interested to be there or engaging with fans.

Greg never looked interested, imo lol. When I was about 4, my brother had a magazine, and Greg's pic terrified me. Lmao.

Comic book conventions are never going to give you your money back just because one person didn’t show. Their thing is that you still get to experience the rest of the convention.

More importantly, the reason for Bundy not being there isn't physical/medical, is it? Greg Valentine was also a great memeing icon: www.grumpycats.com/

If this comic con is a regular/yearly thing, I'd go to local media to make sure it gets circulated that they refused a refund when their advertised talent didn't appear. They should feel some sort of repercussions for it. Hell, even if it's not a regular thing, I'd at least try to get whomever the promoter of the thing was personally outed publicly for doing bad business.

Bumping this as I made reference to it since yesterday. I wonder if he knew something was up with his health?

Bumping this as I made reference to it since yesterday. I wonder if he knew something was up with his health? He was still scheduled for a show this weekend in New York called "Big Event" and also scheduled for Wrestlecon during WrestleMania weekend. Honestly, I'm not trying to put down any particular convention but some of these small comic cons really don't go to great lengths to make sure the talent appears. King Kong Bundy had done Big Event a few times in the past so I'm sure he would have done this weekends show if he had lived, unless an emergency came up.
