From the five 'elimination save' spots, to at least four different people going under the ring to hide/chase others, to the rumble winners both spending a good 5-10 minutes each on the floor outside the ring (Becky included), I'm really tired of them treating the outside of the ring like an extension of the ring as long as TWO FEET don't touch the floor.
It was at its peak worst this year, but more than anything the planning of these matches need to stop relying on the same spots over and over again to ensure that the guys and girls making it to the end get their powernaps before the end of the match. It's just tiresome and unneeded when you can make the matches so much better without adding this unnecessary technicality BS.

They should add a rule where you can only go between the ropes so many times before it counts as an elimination.

They went into overkill mode this year with this for sure.

I've got it.
We need a third Rumble for all the shenanigan lovers.
Lawler, Kofi, Naomi, Hornswoggle, Zelina, Hawkins, Jericho, Christian. If they were involved in a Royal Rumble shenanigan, they must win the Shenanigan Rumble to qualify for the Royal Rumble first.

Yeah, they went overboard with it tonight. I laughed my ass off when Mandy cut Naomi off. I will say though that the Kacy Catanzaro spot was really well done and she made it look easy. One thing I called was that she was gonna be in the Rumble and get over with her athleticism. Mission accomplished. She’s got a hell of a future ahead of her.

Lame as hell when you are thrown over the top rope and land flat on your back on the floor but “oh my feet aren’t touching the mat”.

In addition to this, I also didn't like them redoing the Becky spot with Nia for the men's rumble, especially since it didn't make any sense. Like, at least Becky went to *someone* to get permission. Nia just jumping Truth and deciding she's in with NOBODY having a problem with it sets the precedent (kayfabe wise) that anyone can do that at any time and it's all good

I mean yeah it was done to death tonight, but at the same time there's all these holes in logic that no one's exploited. It makes sense for people to be doing this over and over.
Nia copying Becky made sense. She saw Becky do it and win, and decided to do it herself.
People going through the middle/bottom ropes makes sense. People hiding under the ring makes sense. I'm MORE annoyed people don't do this every year.
Next time do it without nasty ass Hornswoggle involved tho. He can f*** off and never come back.

I don’t understand why an eliminated person is still allowed to eliminate someone. It makes zero sense yet it happens every single year.

I largely agree on the key points: the "powernaps" for the people expected to be there at the end are obnoxious and should be largely done away with outside of special circumstances, and the whole "I'm not REALLY eliminated yet!" thing has lost a lot of its spark since the people who do those spots never win the actual Rumble (though I do agree that Rose getting heat by ruining Naomi's comeback attempt was solid).
This year didn't feel as bad overall as a lot of other recent Rumbles, but there's clearly something missing in the match layout ever since Patterson retired.

Eventually, the RR is going to turn into one of those old endurance contests where the person who could keep their hand on a car the longest won the thing.
Everybody will enter, slide out the bottom rope, and just wait it out. Because why wouldn’t you? You draw #1-10, you’re at a huge disadvantage. Waiting a bit makes all the sense in the world.
The rules need to be tightened up severely.

Yea I did not like Nia and Becky repeating spots lastnight because it was so inconsistent....Becky needed permission but Nia can just waltz into the match.
And I expect people will really throw a f***ing fit because I have predicted the moment Becky won that they are gonna pull the rug out from under her because she got permission to enter from a non authority figure so they redo it with the final 3 on SD.

I’m cool with most of them except the landing on your back ones. Like 95% of you hit the floor so just be out.

Should be a 10-count when they are outside the ring by falling between the ropes.
All the Kofi Kingston/Naomi/Kacey hand walking, barrier walking shit needs to go.
The rule should be if they're thrown over the top and clear of the ring, they are eliminated.
