Well HHH vision is to make wrestling as real as possible(he is a fan of stiffness iirc).

I haven't seen the match, but the photograph doesn't fill me with faith.
He do anything other than chops?

He can wrestle but the chops are just his calling card because they sound like shotgun blast

He looks a lot smaller when he's sitting next to Jeff Dunham.

It’s easy to leave a mark when hitting a guy for real in a fake fight? Especially when you’re like half a foot taller and 100 lbs heavier than most of the other UK guys.

When you say a lot more, do you mean in this specific match, or generally?

As long as the opponent is fine with it then what's the problem? This. A lot of wrestlers are actually open to taking “hits for real”, believe it or not. When I was training a few years ago, more than one guy told me to hit him for real.

As someone training right now, the basic thing I’ve been told is that there’s a “safe” way to hit a forearm or an uppercut etc but a chop is...well, it’s a chop. Like, there’s no safe way to take a chop because the safest way is...well, the way anyone else would take one.

Nobody's getting a broken neck from stiff chops. It's sore, but it's not something actually risking severe injury of the guy taking it. I think Walter's chops get blown out of proportion relative to stuff like unprotected headbutts when they're not really on the level of a big risk; at worst, it stings for a while and fades, he's not dropping anyone onto their head with these.

Yeah, the whole point of wrestling is not to actually hurt your opponent but outside of a bruise it isn’t killing anyone No real big difference from when Sheamus does his 10 forearms or anything like that.

When you say a lot more, do you mean in this specific match, or generally? Generally I look forward to seeing it, because the matches I've seen have been 15 minutes of chops and then a shitty kneebar or something.

When people decided "what if we hit each other with a chair for real?" it brought concussions and ruined careers. When people decided "what if we just chop the everloving shit out of each other?" it brought some external bruising and redness.

I can’t wait until the day that he and Sheamus get to lay into each other.

The funny thing is, the first time I delivered a forearm, I damn near took someone’s jaw off. I couldn’t apologize enough that day but thankfully he took it well and we had a laugh about it. Wrestlers are a weird breed. You could have a stiff as shit match and it would be the most fun thing ever to some of these guys. I guess you have to kinda be around the whole thing to fully “get it”. It’s not like acting (which is what I’m doing now)

You wouldn’t go randomly stiffing someone you weren’t friends with. That is unprofessional and could get you blacklisted. However if there’s a mutual agreement (which is in most cases) that we’re gonna out there, tear the house down and make it look as legit as possible... I see no problem with it. I love the Japanese strong style. Vader is one of my favourites ever and he was big into stiff shots and stuff like that.
