I’m biased as I was in attendance but I don’t think 25 deserves to be grouped in with the likes of 2, 11, 27 and the other really dogshit ones. It does have one of the greatest WWE matches ever and there are other matches on the card that aren’t bad. The MITB is good, the Jericho vs the Legends match had a great final part, Hardy vs Hardy was ok and the Edge/Cena/Show triple threat wasn’t bad. Yes, the Battle Royal, Kid Rock concert and Main event drag the whole show down but it still isn’t enough to warrant entry into the wing of truly shite Manias. Mediocre? Yep. But not terrible.

X-Seven (Austin heel turn not withstanding) was an great show, the Gimmick Battle Royale was better then it had any right to be
27 on the other hand.... SNL 1984-6 and 1989-90 YCDTOTV and the first season of the Facts of Life are great tv compared to WM27, while the opener (Del Rio vs Edge) and Undertaker vs HHH matches were great, the bad outweighed the good: Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus got bumped to preshow dark match to make way for what I consider the worst Wrestlemania match in my opinion: Michael Cole vs Jerry "The King" Lawler which ended in a dusty finish (fitting considering WM27 was in Atlanta, the same city as The 1985 Starrcade Dusty Finish), a 8 man tag match that went 90 seconds. The Rock's monologue taking time away from matches and a singing contest capped off by Hornswoggle rapping and to top it all off, the WWE champ the Miz was treated like an accesory to help set up Rock Vs Cena for WM XXVIII

Yeah, I rewatched 25 a couple of years ago and it really isn't that bad. It's not great, but there's plenty of good there. Being honest I'd also say 29 is much worse than 27 is. 27 at least has Cody / Mysterio, Orton / Punk, and Taker / Triple H, and the overall presentation of the show feels big. Mania 29 is just an utterly lifeless show where Taker / Punk is the only thing even kind of good on it. It never gets as bad as Cole / Lawler granted but it also never gets nearly that interesting.

14, 17, 19 and 30 are the best overall shows

I can't hate 9, because it was the first ppv I ever got.
X had the ladder match that blew my 11-year old mind. Fun show.
11 was straight garbage.
15 was the first Mania I saw after getting back into wrestling.
2000 was decent enough, besides the ending.
X-7 was incredible. It's like everybody brought their "A" game.
25 was the first Mania I got in years. Didn't really do anything for me, besides HBK-Undertaker.
26 was a fun show, I thought.
28 was pretty good too. I was sold on Triple H-Undertaker and Cena-Rock. I thought Jericho and Punk put on a clinic too.
30 is up there with X-7. Great show, but unlike X-7, it had the right ending.
Those are the Manias I watched live. I don't think I've missed anything skipping a lot of them. Of course, I've watched 1 through 8, but recent years have really seemed to be lacking. But I do like to hang out in the threads.
But I have a soft spot for those Manias. Well, not really XI. 😊

Wrestlemania 30 has Triple H giving someone a tiger suplex. That's still surreal for me.

imo 26 is top tier, but nobody talks about it. I think people talk more of how great the build was than the show itself. You could make a case for it being the single strongest Mania build of all time. Every single match had a weeks-long story and build leading up to it. It's a good show, but compared to the build didn't reach the levels people expected it to, so it has a reputation as a bit of a disappointment. That and the total lack of celebrities/musical acts/really anyone other than the wrestlers themselves really takes the "Mania" out of Wrestlemania so it doesn't have the one thing you can point to and say "that was that year." But I concur it's on the upper-level of Manias. I think 28 is in the same lane.

The best Wrestlemania for me was 17. The absolute worst was.... I'll say 2 but 11 is VERY close. Both feel incredibly thrown together and have utterly inconsequential main events.

3, 6, 7, 8, 10, 17 through 21, 26 and 30 are all kickass.
27 and 32 are just “meh” to me. 9 is bizarrely bad to where it’s kinda funny. 5 has a great main event but the crowd sucks. 11 is just abysmal and my pick for the worst Mania ever.

My Opinion from what I saw when I was a regular fan in 1998 (I have seen all of them thanks to the network) - so il just go from from 14 onwards
Best - 14/17/19/24/26/28/30/33, enjoyed the cards and would watch back again and recommend to new fans
Worst - 27 - while I like the Rock, it was just a filler mania to get to Cena/Rock at 28, and agree with everything said about Cole/King...title matches were meh 15 - a glorified raw, the only good matches were the Main event and Shane/Xpac was fun 29 - felt more like a summer slam and a bit rushed, and HHH shouldn't have beaten brock 32- felt like it went on and on, Ambrose match was poor and the HITC match could've been halfed in time In the middle - 16/18/20/21/23/25/34 -
underrated - 22 - MITB and HBK v Vince was fun, Enjoyed the Main event and Edge/Foley match, and I like it there was only one match that went over 20 mins, and got the majority of the roster on the card in singles matches without throwing everyone into a battle royal or 4 way matches...Not every mania match has to be a 30 minute long theatre performace 31 - was enjoyable and like 22 doesn't get a lot of love, liked the main event/enjoyed the Rousey,Rock, HHH steph segment, Good opener

I was at 29, and I guess being there live puts in higher regard for me. I totally understood why isn't doesn't get love, but I was recently re-watching highlight videos and such and it had me thinking... If that show wasn't Wrestlemania and perhaps a Summerslam, woulld it maybe be actually be viewed as a good show?

My first WrestleMania was 8. Very underrated. You have two fantastic matches in Bret v Piper and Flair v Savage, both with excellent builds and with the two most important championships in the company on the line and changing hands. You've got the start of HBK as a singles competitor at WrestleMania, the culmination of the Jake The Snake v Undertaker feud, the return of The Legion of Doom, and irrespective of how you feel about Hogan, it was entirely believable it was going to be his last match, and that an old, slow, over-the-hill Hogan didn't stand a chance against Sid Justice. Sid is also booked really strong and batters Hogan for virtually the entire match. Plus you have the return of the Ultimate Warrior. There's some weak points (The 8 man tag, Owen v Skinner, and the Tag Team Title match), but overall it's one of the best early WrestleMania events with lots of memorable moments.

Some random thoughts here:
31 is one of those weird shows that I don't think is bad but also don't have much interest in rewatching. Matches like Taker/Wyatt and Cena/Rusev don't do much much to entice me, and Sting/Triple H is a major example of how not to do a spectacle match. The ending is the only truly spectacular thing about it.
13 is lucky to have Austin/Bret because I think it's mostly a dry, boring show otherwise. I can't think of anything more representative of the show's low-effort aesthetic than its one-word tagline "Heat" then proceeding to do nothing with that outside of some art design in the backstage interview area.
2 is definitely not a good show, but you'll be hard-pressed to find another WrestleMania with better camp value.
*whispers softly* I like WrestleMania 9.

24, 25, 28 and 33 were also fun. Brock/Goldberg II is frigging badass, and I even thought Michael Cole was really good calling the action.
I loved 12 as a kid, but I don’t know if it holds up as well as I thought. Bret/Shawn takes a super long time to get hot. Compare that to how fast Bret charges out the gate against Austin at 13, the fans are screaming. And the early Goldust stuff is..uh....yeah.

my top 5: 17, 14, 30, 31, 19
my bottom 5: 22, 9, 4, 32, 11
in terms of quality 22 is excellent, but I felt super uncomfortable watching during the exploitation of Eddie Guerrero during the WHC and JBL vs Benoit matches

Surprised that 33 is getting some positive shout outs. I found it to be pretty bland

17 and 11 or 9 are usually best/worst.
