Based on mods saying we should spread the AEW love to more than one thread, how about using this as a speculation and discussion thread?
While everyone is expecting a Kenny announcement, who else might show up? Any new signings, maybe a match announcement?
Based on the new BTE, it looks like they're aiming for a 14000 capacity. Do you think they can pull it off? They'll probably need to do more than just word of mouth like with All In, so what can we expect?

The Best Friends are said to have signed with them so I guess we'll see them there as well

I would expect the Lucha Bros to show up and make it official. Best Friends as well. Maybe a shock signing like Ibushi?

Hopefully some more women's signings as well, lest we start comparing Britt to Nattie's Southpaw character.

The might keep a shock signing up their sleeve (assuming they have one) in case ticket sales need a boost. To sell out 14k would be mega impressive and might give a few clues as to whether this might be a sustainable movement. To do it once is amazing, to do it twice would be tip top.

Most definitely, but All In sold out on the fact that they were doing it. Now it's a thing, and I think these guys are smart enough to realize they can't expect lightning to strike twice.

I'm of two minds with the "quick sell out" thing. On one hand, I'd love to see them do it again. On the other, my wife and I have that show penciled in as our (almost) summer vacation and I suck at securing a hot ticket. (Either the server crashes, a scalper takes them out from under me or both.) Slower ticket sales mean we can actually get them.

"Does the MGM in Las Vegas even hold 14,000?" I would have liked seeing him in AEW. Me too. Alex Shelley would have been amazing. I think we are going to get some good signing announcements. Maybe a match booking of some kind. This could be when we find out about Omega offically status. I could see a couple surprises because they gotta sell tickets and fans want to know talent.

I feel like, while they would like to have a spate of signee announcements, the main drive of this event is going to have to be building storylines going into Double Or Nothing. Some of these will play into matches (I fully expect Bucks Vs Lucha Bros to highlight this show), but we'll also get progression on the PAC/Hangman feud and we'll find out who is going to be wrestling Cody, Jericho, and SCU.

As a catch-all list of people signed/rumored since the first press conference:
Jungle Boy Sammy Guevara Kylie Rae Bea Priestley Best Friends Lucha Bros.
Add in Omega, one surprise (Ibushi?), a partnership with DDT/TJPW and tickets starting at $25. All rough guesses on my side.

After watching BTE today I figured even if Kenny is a sure-bet, they might prolong officially announcing him.
Anyway, I’m excited for any and all surprises but most intrigued about ticket prices. I’m definitely going and I wanna know what we’re working with here.

Wonder if they'll stick with the "hey we're in a parking lot" format?
Still exciting nonetheless.
