Feels like paranoia is driving people to just oppose this for one reason or another. You can't bring in an HR guy or a life counselor or some shit like that because they will be ignored, he's not JBL or Holly What type of unwritten rules can Mark break? Ohh if it isn't in writing than anything can happen? Yeah, okay that's taking it way to far and should be dialed back 2 notches It's really simple. He's going to be a locker room leader, help people out and just try be a guiding light. If people still act crazy than they know Vince is not that far behind for a talk
You absolutely can bring in an HR guy. Give them the power theyt should have, to fine infractions, written out and in no way interpretable as anything other than what they are, that make the company look bad, and they for sure won't be ignored for long. So you're all for the wrestlers being stressed about a new HR guy coming out of nowhere, someone who doesn't understand them or how they work. You're for that compared to someone they know, someone that does understand how they are and how they work and in turn they'll be less stressed out? Someone they respect more compared to an outsider?
Seriously?

Insider - "OMG, Henry's going to Kamoshida someone OMGGGGGGGG" *Insider runs away*
*Henry goes into the trainer's room and takes the ice pack from the doctor and puts it on Seth's back*Henry - "I couldn't live with myself if I wasn't here with you, you'll be ok champ. I'm here by you until you get better."

If the problem is SO serious that someone needs to be brought in to set it right? Yup. It's better than saying "Anything you do to piss this guy off goes straight to Vince". Those channels exist for a reason in real companies.

If it’s a legit company, they should be able to have a “outsider” come in to a position to address a lot of the issues Henry talked about. Company standards for cleanliness, attendance/punctuality, decorum, etc should be in policy form and somebody especially with an HR background can easily handle that. The wrestlers feeling stressed out is a non-issue. It’s great if they feel at easy with people in management/supervisory positions but if they aren’t because of non- issues like “not being one of them”, well that’s just life/business.

Like the post above this says, all this shit Mark is saying should exist in policy form, not in "If I see it, I'm talking to Vince!" form. If the wrestlers can't handle someone who's not "one of them" dealing with those policies in an official capacity? Oh well. Everybody's had a supervisor they didn't like.

If Mark Henry had an official role that was accountable and transparent, which had a clear remit to be a sort of roster supervisor when they are on the road, that might work, but they don't need to go back to the prisonyard system they've had before. Oh, for the love of... EVERY employee of WWE is on paper, right alongside their job description. WWE has official paperwork on Mark Henry documenting his status and position and whether they've bothered to share it with you personally does not change that. He's a f***ing road agent with slightly different duties. That's it. ... I'm done with this thread. I'm done with the absolute...whatever this is.
