"They killed him!" is one of my favourite calls. I will always think that “they killed him” was a reference of the wrestling business in general and every promoter who ever asked him to take a dangerous bump. I always saw it as risking and endangering a man's life to pop a rating. But that works too, like, they finally pushed things too far.

I'm guessing the head play-by-play guy is going to be Timmy Baltimore. (He called the NWA title match at All In.) He's good friends with Cody, the AEW Twitter account just followed him and he retweets a lot of their announcements.

They could use Jim Ross as the 3rd wheel in the commentary booth just for exposure’s sake for WWE/WWF casuals.
