It’s not “just” to get the crowd to boo. It’s also to get the crowd thinking there’s some type of “real life” beef. That’s the whole meta aspect of it (if it’s indeed a work). The WWE and Heyman especially (rightly or wrongly) seem to think blurring this line between kayfabe and reality is beneficial. Nah, that "real life beef" thing only works in storylines that need it. Fans were fully invested in this storyline before any of this happened so for them to throw that in there would not only be them doing too much for the storyline but it would also be exhausting their options. For the Lesnar thing, like stated, Lesnar's character has always been about being real since he's returned so yeah that's why he does it. They didn't do any of this real life beef with Axel, didn't do it with Cesaro, they just don't do it with anyone other than Lesnar who's character is built around it. Ronda's character isn't built on that given she's had trouble with the Rubys, Nias and etc. It's different for her.
Let alone Charlotte here who said she's not dealing with any of the social media banter until after WM so at that point if this whole thing was part of "the plan" then Charlotte's saying "nah, you exclude me" which she wouldn't do since she's a team player. She's going to be in the match so without her being in this that muddies the water.
At this point you need to explain why they'd want to make this some "fake beef meta" thing when really not everyone's included in it, when this storyline's already very popular with fans and when they haven't done any of this prior with Becky or Ronda.
They wouldn't think this was beneficial when everything was already working perfectly to their plans. Vince doesn't work like that and Heyman of all people would know to not change the narrative of a storyline around like this.
Charlotte alluded to this during her house show heel promo tonight, apparently:

Charlotte isn't half bad at the shit talk with that. That's a perfectly reasonable line, the type of stuff Ronda should have been saying for a good jab back.

Like, put down the manifesto and post a picture holding the title and ask how long it took Becky to win her first championship.

Na, I don't buy it My biggest thing is how does this benefit the feud what so ever and sell people on this match
You could say the same thing about the Lesnar stuff last year. Just because it’s not a good idea doesn’t mean they don’t think it’s a good idea. Brock leaving and going back to UFC was integrated into the storyline to garner more cheers for Roman
Ronda being leaving has not been in the story line. Hell, it is hardly mentioned in their twitter beef. Ronda being mentally weak is a real life thing and never been part of her story with Becky. This shit has just been all over the place that sways away from the feud at end and makes it a mess

That's how it is done.

Yea, being the "Mad Queen" is something I never really considered she can do as far as range can go. She can play the best of both worlds in regards to being the mean bitch who can snap at any moment but also smile in your face because she likes the challenge
That exchange between her and Kairi at the Rumble where she just had a crazy smile on her face when they were chopping each other was a moment of damn this girl is really into this character and showing why she is the best.
You can really do no wrong with Charlotte right now as people expected she is the person who has to direct this feud on the right path between Ronda and Becky but you also had the choice of putting her against Asuka for the rematch which would have been just as good

I think they're both doing fine *shrug* Talking about wrestling being fake is fine to you? Let's be honest-- everyone knows it's scripted. If you think Ronda Tweeting 'it's scripted' is the worst thing ever in Wrestling Katie Vic, Paul Bearer and Eddie Guerrero's desecrated honor used in storylines postmortem without consent are 3 big easy answers to show that a harmless Tweet doesn't even scratch the surface. BTW this is her own personal Twitter WWE doesn't own Ronda Rousey's real name nor her personal social media accounts. So she can say whatever she wants to about WWE being scripted, as long as she doesn't do it on WWE tv or at live events I don't think there's anything wrong here.

Yeah I gotta say that right now Charlotte is the best overall female talent they have in the company. She's elevated herself to a new level since that Survivor Series match.

When it comes to Charlotte... I'm still not quite 100% sold on her but by this point I'm probably at least about 95%. While I still think she can be kind of inconsistent at times in the ring and she is definitely overexposed, I don't think even her biggest fans can argue that, she has shown a ton of range and has demonstrated she's probably one of the best on the roster at adjusting her ring work in tune with her character.

Becky, Sasha, Bayley have points where they are the best for a while and remain better than her in some categories but Charlotte has upped her game again to show why she is the best

Charlotte elevated herself well before Survivor Series, when the Becky feud started. It was stupid trying to make her the face and Becky the heel, but her promos and expressions were always top notch during it. She and Becky really bring the best out of each other and show why they (along with Asuka) are in a tier of their own.
I'm just glad they ended up making her a heel again because she's so much better that way.

Charlotte's been one of the most complete performers on WWE's roster for a long long while now. Glad people are starting to put some respek on The Queen's name.
It's the HHH syndrome. Do they have flaws as a performer? Sure. But the amount they've been overexposed can cause people to overlook how talented of a performer they actually are.

Why I thought the "Charlotte Reigns" stuff was unfair. Yeah, it was too much when she was on Raw, but I've always felt she was way more talented than Roman so I at least understood it.

Charlotte's only real weak point is her promos. Still talks like she is coached by an alien.
Talking weird isn't just her problem though. The talent is getting terrible direction and feedback from someone.
