Talented, very attractive, by all accounts seems to be a very nice person IRL, is a non chosen one who was misused for years and has gotten where's she's at mainly on her own merits. Not exactly much to wrap your head around.
I guess if you've just started watching recently and don't know her history and story, I can understand maybe not liking as her new character isn't someone you would probably call likeable or personable. I can also see how her strong booking can feel like too much but if you've been following her the last years and know how weak she was booked for so long, and how underutilized she was with them using her to put over every heel under the sun then it wouldn't be a big deal. Girl has definitely paid her dues and deserves to have some strong booking after getting the shaft for so long.

I don't watch but from afar the little I've seen of her is that she is likeable but not in a overly corny way like Bayley. It's a simple concept, really. It has always worked but promotions seem to be too stubborn to use it. WWE had to be forced into it.

The twitter shit has to end
Sadly, after the crowd has sat out in the cold for nine hours at Wrestlemania her main event will likely get a tepid reaction. The WWE has set this whole thing to fall flat.

First- you don’t have to like everyone they put on TV. I never liked Jeff Hardy when he was he most popular babyface they had. Some things will click with you & others won’t. That said- when WWE did a truly great job with a babyface (Hogan, Rock, Austin)- it didn’t matter if you had been watching for years or the first time you ever saw them. You knew exactly what they stood for and what they were fighting for, and if they didn’t get it across, then commentary would. This thread is a great example of fans know they are supposed to be behind her, but the booking doesn’t always bring you there. Back in 98-00, you had some people hating on them then also. You can take everyones complaints about OPness here and apply them to 1998 Austin. Rock is a little different, because he literally is super charismatic. But again, even here you had a mod who only fairly recently gave favour to him. Before that it was all "he was bad for business, he's a catchphrase spewing clown" etc. I guess I'm saying.... there will always be great wrestlers who, once they become super popular, have a huge backlash.
