The f***? Why Ciampa? Does he have to retire or something? He just had neck surgery and he said they told him he's basically on borrowed time for his in ring career
Plus full circle anyway as we won't see Ciampa for a while so close that chapter between those 2

The f***? Why Ciampa? Does he have to retire or something? They don't know how long he's going to be out, and it's a great moment for Ciampa to be there and hug Johnny. And he's already kinda dropped the asshole act on Twitter by sharing the video of his recovery (with a "goodbye heat, I'll miss you" tweet attached) and showing his support to Johnny earlier, so it's not really out of left field. |

I don't read Twitter, and I was unaware of the severity of his injury, so it was for me. I thought it was some bullshit retcon. |

My guess is that Io is the one to take the title from Shayna, likely at the next Takeover. Io is the only woman that Shayna hasn't officially beaten yet. She's beaten Kairi twice and now Bianca twice, but Io has pinned Shayna and she's yet to avenge that loss properly. My guess is that's the angle they play up. Nah. Considering the next Takeover is in San Jose, it'll probably be Candice LaRae who gets the next shot. That's only a few hours away from where Candice grew up. Now I don't think she's gonna win, because the crowd really seemed to want a Kairi vs Io feud after tonight. And the only way that gets a Takeover match is if one of them is champion. |
