Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vibes in the worst way I'm saying bro! Like, this could have been a big marker in Gargano's story without Ciampa, and they shoehorned him in anyway. Can you let the man breathe? I do understand it tho
This was the end of everything in terms of story (or it should be) with Gargano finally getting the title and Ciampa coming out for support since we won't see him for a long time
WHat I don't like is them acting like the Gargano heel turn never happened

And he's already kinda dropped the asshole act on Twitter by sharing the video of his recovery (with a "goodbye heat, I'll miss you" tweet attached) and showing his support to Johnny earlier, so it's not really out of left field. I don't read Twitter, and I was unaware of the severity of his injury, so it was for me. I thought it was some bullshit retcon. I believe the video is in: officialfan.proboards.com/thread/585392/tommaso-ciampa-opens-injuryIt goes into his family life, how Goldie came to be, and how close he, Johnny, and Candice are. There is a few more Tweets from him about revealing all this and a message to Johnny before the show.

As well as Ricochet and Black who ends up on the main roster after mania? I can’t really think of anything that Sane or Cole have left to do in Nxt.

Whoever ends up with both WWE Womens belts will be all BLAH BLAH BLAH I HAVE ALL THE GOLD and than the NXT champ shows up. Haven't had a cross over champ for a while

Just finished.... the ending is bittersweet because the absolute best heel over the past 18 months or so has been Ciampa, IMO. However, I can see why they did this. It closes the story and with Ciampa possibly done for good, it makes sense. Another great Takeover... I was fully entertained.

Well, as someone who was at NXT TakeOver live (traffic getting there was the only complaint I have), Mania has no chance of being as good.
One bad match among the 13 on the main card and.....it already loses on percentage of good to bad matches.

WrestleMania’s only chance at surpassing Takeover will have to come through the possible emotional gratification there’d be from Lynch, Kingston AND Rollins winning (with the first two being more likely to do so in actual great matches than the last one). It might be hard to say it would be better, but it would also be hard to say it would be bad.

I like Takeover being on friday. Gives a buffer so we can get over the whole “NXT is better and the main roster show is definitely gonna be bad” conversation

I like Takeover being on friday. Gives a buffer so we can get over the whole “NXT is better and the main roster show is definitely gonna be bad” conversation I think it helps the weekend flow a bit better, since you have the Hall of Fame as a cool down between Takeover and Mania if you only care about the WWE stuff. However, it's inconsistent with all the other Takeovers since they are on Saturday, and I don't think WWE promoted that fact all that well either.

Just watched when I woke up. That entire show was bonkers.
I'm disappointed noone else in this thread was half expecting Candice to throw Johnny into the stage though

Much like Ric Flair we’ll never get an update on that cameraman.
