“Daniel referred to you as...a B+ player.”
The dude has become what he hated. He’s let the title get to his head and has become, in his mind, the face of WWE and the planet. He’s become Vince’s favorite and has wieseled into his ear.
I love this storyline and Bryan’s heel character arch, man. Good shit all around and a nice touch, IMO.

I think Byron's last line on Smackdown was legit pretty much word for word what Cole said when Bryan got screwed out of the title again at Elimination Chamber 2014.

To top that off, the No chants are back and in full force, instead people are doing it out of hate. What a beautiful story Daniel Bryan has

He’s so full of it. He’s probably headed to McDonald’s, in his numvee, as I type this.

It's genius and Kofi's playing his part well in this. Kofi was right there next to Bryan but Bryan kept elevating. Now after all this time Bryan's shutting down someone who was in the same spot he used to be in. Even though Bryan knows what Kofi's going through, he continues to shun him.
It's great.

This should go on last at Mania.

When Bryan was on commentary a few weeks ago, he kept calling Kevin Owens a coward, reminiscent of Miz calling Bryan a coward on Talking Smack.

He’s legitimately became the grizzled veteran who now knows that working with the system brings you some pull with the boss. Much like orton did all those years ago in 2013. It’s a damn good story they’re telling with callbacks we didn’t even know were there.

I can't wait for his redemption arc, legit. If they want to start a face turn for him, have him get Black Mass'd in 18 seconds.

DB is such a dick as a heel and you can tell he's enjoying every last minute of this
He broke away from the "shackles" of the Yes gimmick and got to get back to the nitty gritty of forming a character and he is absolutely killing it

Heel Daniel Bryan COULD be good. I just hate all this environmental, planet saving, vegan garbage. It’s cheap heat and doesn’t suit Bryan Danielson IMO.
I wish he was more like his 2011 heel run. Just a cocky obnoxious asshole.

Meh. I know I'm in the minority about this but Bryan's character since turning heel is a goddamn mess. He was a beloved babyface who let his desire for the title turn him into a psychotic heel who despised what he once was, only then he dropped the psycho stuff and became an asshole vegan, and now he's an asshole vegan who somehow is also management's favorite wrestler. There's no logical flow to any of those character beats.

In a way he's becoming 2013 Orton which is ironic given he had to beat Orton in order to win the title. Maybe down the line a heel Kofi will face a younger superstar who's similar to how he is today. I wouldn't be against it being Ali. Say it's WM36 and Kofi's turned heel by becoming basically the new opportunist heel and prior to the event he's won the title again. I'd love to see Kofi/Ali so Kofi can pass the torch to him.

You could say that Bryan’s choosing to cozy up with the Authority so that he can remain champ and spread his platform as “The Planet’s Champion”.
