Survivor Series 91 is a perfect example. Only 2 good matches, but the bad ones are made watchable by Monsoon and Heenan's commentary.

Maybe not a complete save, but Survivor Series '93. Heenan steals the show absolutely dumping on the Harts.

Heenan saved a lot of WCW shows in '94.

I wouldn’t call Wrestlemania VIII bad, but I have a much higher opinion of that show than I would if it weren’t for the hilarious commentary.

I think that Jessie and Gorilla made a lot of the filler matches on old PPVs watchable. Wrestlemania 4 I think would be one that would be hard to watch with most any other team.

I often put Mania 4 on as I sleep. Just to listen to the commentary. I haven’t sat down and watched it a few years but I’ve heard chunks of it several times over the same period.

Backlash 17 isn't bad but the Indian commentary team crushed it in the Jinder vs Orton match.

It helps to love your job, he only left because he was a dedicated loyal family man. Speaking of love and Bobby Heenan, his wife joined him at many of his autograph appearances over his last 10 years or so. I know his health was poor but I'm sure the love they had for each other may it as easy as it could possibly be. In everything he did with WWF, he went above and beyond and gave the most he could to every match, every wrestler, every promo. There's only so much you can do with WCW I think but I enjoyed him on the shows of WCW I saw.

I'm a fan of Wrestlemania 4. Actually, I love it for a few reasons, but one of those is the commentary. Same can be said for Starrcade 90. An average show really but the commentary from Jim Ross and Paul Heyman brings it up a lot.

Heyman even gave up on the Black Scorpion nonsense and wanted Sting to just win, haha. As far as Art Donovan goes he actually changed his mind during the finals and said "You know, I actually think Razor might lose here...." Gorilla was apoplectic.

Survivor Series 91 is a perfect example. Only 2 good matches, but the bad ones are made watchable by Monsoon and Heenan's commentary. Those two are golden during Hogan/Undertaker. "Boy, my monitor keeps kicking in and out!" "I'm gonna start kicking you in and out!"
