Why can’t we just have New Day continuing to stick together and being happy for Kofi? My sentiments exactly, I kind of like the idea of the New Day being the exception to the "A face stable breaking up because one member goes rogue" route. Obviously, at some point, you have to pull the trigger and break them up because I'd like to see Xavier Woods and Big E. Langston get respective single pushes as well, but you could always go the route of splitting them up during the post-Wrestlemania SuperStar Shakeup. I could easily see in retaliation to Kofi winning the championship at WrestleMania, Mr. McMahon breaking the New Day up himself by sending Woods to 205 Live and Langston to Raw. But yeah, I'd hate if they went the typical generic route of either Xavier Woods, Big E. Langston or both turning heel out of jealousy after WrestleMania.

Spoiler: Neither of them win it. The eventual New Day Angle is blown off on a random Smackdown. Kurt Angle is joining New Day!?!?

I've always hated New Day, but in this case I think a turn would be incredibly trite and bad for everyone involved. As I see it, New Day is what brought Kofi to the dance and I'm not sure that he can really stand on his own. The group is assuredly greater than the sum of its parts.

Are they still shifting merch and over with the crowd? If so I expect them to stay together a while longer. I'm not sure what their current merch sales are like. But it was reported a couple of months ago that their merchandise sales were down from they previously were.

Kofi in New Day isn't a main event guy IMO, but Kofi without New Day really isn't a main event guy.
