Also dang this is some Smackdown vs. Raw Road to Wrestlemania mode shit not announcing the world title match this late, if it's more like SVR it'll get announced the Smackdown before Wrestlemania. I remember the days when I thought the Day of Reckoning 2 storyline having one of the shows without a World title for a straight year and them waiting until the go-home show to announce the Mania main event was ridiculous.

WWE don't seem to want us to just be "Oh, I guess it'll be nice to see Bryan v Kingston", they want us to be FROTHING AND FOAMING AT THE MOUTH, PUNCHING HOLES IN WALLS MAKING OURSELVES BLEED LEVELS OF REAL EMOTIONAL INVESTMENT. It's a dangerous game to play at the best of times, let alone when they don't exactly have a lot of goodwill in storage.

This is idiotic on so many levels. 1-What does Vince have against Kofi? There’s no storyline context or reason for any of this. Kofi’s character isn’t some anti authority rebel who has had interactions with Vince. He’s a company guy for over a decade who’s universally respected. Whether it’s their intention or not Vince having it in for Kofi for seemingly no reason adds an uncomfortable racial dynamic that reeks of the Triple H/Booker T stuff and we know how THAT went. You know why Vince doesn't like Kofi. They won't say it but you KNOW what they're going for. SmackDown opens with New Day ragdolling Vince all around the backstage area. SDL next week is just gonna be the faces just busting up on all the heels. Vince is gonna have to beg lol.

I'm liking it
I know people want the match official but I find the fact they keep making him chase it interesting

I just don't think the WWE feels the Kofi vs Bryan program is as interesting as Kofi getting the actual title shot itself.

I get the whole ‘build to the feud already’ argument but that will be after Wrestlemania. I don’t think either guy goes to Raw.
It’s a little irritating but I’m still greatly invested and looking forward to how they’ll undo this next week.

Having Vince go, "LOL, nope, just kidding!" and send in Bryan was just stupid. Why is it anymore so often WWE thinks dragging out making a match official is better than actually building the match? Kinda worried where they are dragging this on to the point where people just don't tune it and they get a ratings drop

If that’s what they were going for they’d be beating us over the head with it. I also don’t think Vince is self aware enough to even think it’s coming across that way.

Obviously, they have a 20 man battle royal to determine who Bryan will face at Mania.
Kofi uses his bag of survival tricks and wins.
Vince then announces that he's won the first of three competitions to determine a chance at Bryan.
Then, there is a BEAT THE CLOCK Challenge. Kofi wins after beating Vince's new hire DEATHBEAR McDEATHBEAR after DEATHBEAR gets distracted killing half the third row and gets counted out at 3:19.
Finally, the random third challenge is another Gauntlet match, started by Kofi, featuring Rowan, Big Show, That Fat Guy They Passed Off as Yokozuna, DEATHBEAR McDEATHBEAR, and, of course, Kalisto. Kofi wins again but loses his left arm to DEATHBEAR.
Vince then announces Kofi must challenge Kofi and Kofi to win a spot. A bottle of pills fall out of Vince's pocket and we realize he's been taking medication for the rare disease of "BAD IDEAS" that absolutely no on in the McMahon Family has ever suffered from, ever.
Kofi beats Kofi, thus meaning Kofi can't go to Wrestlemania because he lost to Kofi.
Bryan faces Sheamus.
Sheamus wins in 8 seconds because call backs are great.

I'm liking it I know people want the match official but I find the fact they keep making him chase it interesting Pretty much how I feel. I just don’t see all the hullabaloo about this or any of the other mania matches. I’ve found that they’ve been built well and serve their purpose. I’m ready for Mania

Like, they JUST recently had a dueling promo where Bryan was ranting about Vince. Why is Vince helping him?! Not to mention he didn’t want Bryan anywhere near the title years ago! 3-Ok, if Vince is so deadest on Kofi not being the challenger THEN WHO IS BECAUSE WRESTLEMANIA IS IN TWO f***ING WEEKS AND THERES NO WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH. You’re in charge, just pick someone else if you hate him so damn much! 4-Enough has been said about how played out the evil authority figure stuff is, but with ratings in the toilet, so many openly unhappy wrestlers, and speculation and fear about the future after Vince leaves why are they portraying the owner of the company as this incompetent vaguely racist asshole? They didn’t want to do the angle where Stephanie got arrested because they were scared of people thinking it’s a real thing, they’re not double guessing the Vince stuff? ITS ALL SO DUMB That is exactly my fear with this entire thing and I am just waiting for them to have Xavier and Big E just outright say it in the final 2 weeks before Mania. because like you said...there is absoloutley no reason Vince should be this against Kofi because Kofi is a company man he does everything he is told and so what other reason could be possible have except for the worst possible reason.

Yes, they are making him jump through hoop after hoop but that's the point of it all in that he's more than qualified but is getting f***ed over by Vince
It's damn near somewhat the same to DB who had to win a match at Mania to get in the main event

So really the only logical outcome of this match given they keep teasing it and then taking it away, is that Kofi is a lock to win the title at mania. Like there is no possible way they could keep booking Kofi as beating the odds and not eventually winning it.
Unless Kofi turns heel and joins Bryans eco warrior stable.

The build to the match is happening already. It's not just Vince against Kofi, but Bryan against Kofi. Bryan sees himself in Kofi and he knows better than anyone how dangerous a guy like Kofi is. He is the one doing whatever he can to keep Kofi from getting this opportunity. The match is happening, this IS the build, it's been building since Fastlane. We want to see Kofi beat the crap out of Bryan. Just because they haven't done the sit down to sign the contract doesn't mean they aren't building anticipation for the match.
