If you want a preview, Shane Mercer launched Marko's brother like 6 rows the other night at GCW. If I knew how to embed Tweets on mobile, I'd do it. I'm going to find a way to add "Amazon Priming" to my daily vernacular, I love that!

Aesthetically I really can’t shake the feeling of TNA when watching AEW. I don’t know what it is but it feels like TNA mid 00’s. They really need to change the look and set up to feel fresh and different in my opinion, quality wrestling isn’t enough to entice me as silly as that sounds It’s those damn entrance tubes, they scream TNA fire sale.

He is like Matt Riddle if the legit assholeness would be replaced by talent! Matt Riddle is literally one of the nicest guys in wrestling. You would have to actively try to smoke that much weed and be an asshole LOL

I’d mark if after all the crazy shit in this match someone wins with a roll up. That would have been just like in the real ECW when Shane Douglas would brawl all over the arena with a guy, they'd hit each other with everything under the sun, then finally make it back to the ring and Shane would beat the guy with a f'n belly to belly suplex. That s*** always drove me insane.

Admittedly part of why I'm having trouble caring about this is because there's basically no reason for it to be happening unless the Dark Order is winning so it just makes it feel like a waste of time. And really I'm expecting them to make it to the finals. Had they had the Best Friends being more angry about the Dark Order jumping them at Double or Nothing, and sold that during the build for the match, that'd have helped matters, but they really didn't. They just kind of sold their wacky, nutty friendship stuff in the video package for Road to All Out, and didn't really seem to take Dark Order seriously at all. That's on Trent and Taylor, granted, but it didn't help matters for Dark Order if even who would presumably be their rivals don't give a f***. Wow I was at D.O.N. and I forgot that's how the Dark Order debuted. I don't think they mentioned that one time on commentary during All Out did they?

Next AEW show should be headlined by a throwdown with the original Elite. The fact that WCW tried to use Road Warrior Animal on his own is still so f***ing weird to me Agreed. I don't know why Hawk as a single wrestler works but Animal as a single wrestler is a strange concept.

The fact that Cody has a lisp, plays retro video games, loves Star Trek, and still married Brandi proves that there's hope for nerds everywhere. Cody has certain advantages most don't. Good-looking with a great body and comes from a well to do background. The average neck beard shoving Cheese Puffs in his mouth participating in the same nerd activities wouldn't have stood a chance with Brandi.

Excuse me? Animal was not alone. In an alternate reality, Road Warrior Heidenreich is a WWE hall of famer. I'm glad I live in this reality where the most legendary thing Heidenreich has done is wrestle Alabama Doink in front of 15 people at Golden Corral.

Shawn Spears is surprisingly good as a shithead heel honestly he really is I think that's his real life personality. I ran into it at two events this past WrestleMania weekend. I never saw him interact with anybody fan or wrestler. Aloof would be the nicest way I could describe him.

Jericho is slowly transforming into Mickey Rourke. Did that punch at Mania have a werewolf effect You know how Dr. Jekyll has a potion that turns him into Mr. Hyde? Jericho has one of those that turns him into Mickey Rourke. Hennessey, I think it's called. You're comment is beyond ridiculous and uninformed... everyone that listens to T.I.J. knows Jericho only drinks Grey Goose, or G.G. as he calls it.

Aloof would be the nicest way I could describe him. I've actually had four conversations with the guy in the last few years. Aloof is a pretty good word, in that he took time to talk with me and gave honest answers to my questions, but is definitely a bit on the introverted side. His current gimmick is definitely closer to the real personality than the bombastic 10 guy, and that's not meant to knock him in the slightest, as I myself am very similar in that regard.

Loved seeing him again, especially his kickass spinebuster, but I had to laugh at Arn freakin' Anderson, of ALL people, used as a paragon of virtue that hates cheating.

Also, totally dig Hangman. I wish there were more Western/Southern/Cowboy guys nowadays. *fingers crossed for a one-night Smoking Gunns reunion in AEW* Get him doing a boxing gimmick and get him over as an undercard jobber. If people will pop for Glacier in the battle royal, then Bart Gunn can get one dammit! I unabashedly love The Judas Effect. I know it's just a back elbow but the way it's presented is just brilliant. Ultimate death move. The fact that's a finisher aside, how does it compare to Andrade's or Cedric's, visually? I think Jericho actually does a really good job of making it come out of nowhere. I've only seen a couple of his post-WWE matches, but the ones I have seen I didn't see the spot being set up from a mile away like with a lot of other things. I’m not sure what I’d pick for match of the night. But my moment would be AA hitting the spine buster. Probably my favourite moment of the night. It felt like WCW again. I actually teared up a bit. I'm such a damn mark, but I am totally okay with it. Can't really say I see it much outside of the face/heel entrance tunnels. Yeah, to me, if anything, AEW looks and feels like a modernized WCW. In a good way I'd say. I really felt like this would be what WCW would look like now - and I am here for it. Surprisingly there was 0 CM Punk chants in the show. Yeah, funny how that happens when the show is booked well. Consider me one more bastion of the 'it's so annoying when fans chant CM Punk' sect who has defected to 'maybe if the show didn't suck they wouldn't chant shit' camp. The fact that WCW tried to use Road Warrior Animal on his own is still so f***ing weird to me Agreed. I don't know why Hawk as a single wrestler works but Animal as a single wrestler is a strange concept. Wasn't Hawk the vastly superior wrestler of the two? Not in the charisma or mic stakes or anything like that, but as far as in-ring goes.

Had some good showings again Flair during the Crockett years and had much better partners and showings in Japan than Animal did while they were split.

Got around to watching it today
Private Party being on the pre-show whilst the Dark Order are winning matches on the main card show just how evil the Dark Order truly are. Man they really killed that crowd
Also I just can’t take Riho matches seriously due to her size with all due respect to her and her in ring athleticism
Also I thought for sure MJF was going to betray Cody when he was selected as his corner man. Kinda wanted Shawn to win so double dissaponted. Good match though
Ladder match great. That Cracker Barrel match was insane. Rest of matches were enjoyable though I hope AEW shortens the show times a bit once they do weekly TV. 3 hours just seems like the best length IMO
Also loud cameraman at the end was hilarious as was post show Jericho

Moxley is a draw. Obviously there's other factors, but losing him was a big deal.

That’s not good losing buys.
I wonder if it’s the weak ass main event that did it.
AEW seemingly didn’t have much confidence in it considering they based the tnt special around Cody ans Spears instead.
