I was just reminded of Oliver Grey. I guess he’s had some success on the Indies since then, but in WWE, the only times he won in NXT were to crown the tag champs, then he and Neville immediately lose the titles and Grey gets injured.

There's a few DSW champions that are complete "Who"s outside a few select guys like Miz, Woods, Ryder/Hawkins, and a few others.

Not the most obscure, but I've had to remind myself on several occasions that Kenzo Suzuki was a tag team champ.
Can we count Cynthia Lynch, the first woman to win the Hardcore title?

This is completely unrelated to WWE, but I watched the 1980’s horror classic Prom Night II yesterday. A computer nerd cons the lead mean girl into going down on him so he’ll fix it so she’ll win prom queen. When the main character wins it instead much to everyone’s surprise someone yells at the mean girl, “How’d you blow it?”

Jerry Lynn, Cruiserweight Light Heavyweight Champion. Funny tidbit, Lynn and X-Pac are the only guys to hold both the GWF and WWF Light Heavyweight Titles. As for the topic, Black Tiger I aka Rollerball Rocco as WWF Jr. Heavyweight Champion

Didn't Harvey Wippleman win the Women's Title?
Also the length of Gillberg's LHW reign.

The fact that Oliver Grey still uses his obscure NXT name on the British independents to this day always makes me chuckle. Like he made quite a name for himself over here pre-NXT as Joel Redman, yet he’s stuck to using the name he had a cup ‘a coffee in the bigtime(™️ Macho Man) with.

"Here is your winner and new Hardcore champion . . . well . . . one of Godfather's hoes."

Give it a few years, and people will forget that Jinder Mahal exists at all, let alone was f***ing WWE champion for the better part of a year.

Shota Chochishvili WWF Martial Arts Champion for 31 days back in 1989. That title still existed in 1989?! I thought that was given to Inoki to make him look like a big deal when he did shows for Vince Sr.? I had no idea there were any other guys that held it or that it existed into 1989.
