Just look at their booking.
Don’t look at their win/loss record because that can be misleading. Instead, look at how often they’re on TV. Look at how WWE will react once they get a big win. Look at how consistent their presentation is. Listen to how commentary fawns.
Some will disagree. Some will say certain talents aren’t favored as much because of storyline-related losing streaks. They are wrong.
And yes. I am talking about what just happened on Smackdown. But these rules apply to anything in WWE.

Asuka wouldn’t have gotten that title in the first place if that were the case, hell, she wouldn’t have beaten Becky at the Rumble.
It’s a weird ass decision for sure, but I wouldn’t say asuka is some lost cause who’s been buried by Vince and has been treated as such. She’ll bounce back.

She only got the title because they needed it off Becky and Charlotte for the Rumble and she was the only viable choice on the show. They proceeded to make her a complete afterthought in the lead-up to the Rumble, immediately focused on Becky over her after Asuka won, refused to recap it on the shows after, Asuka disappeared for a straight month, came back to lose to Mandy Rose then when she did beat her it wasn't clean, and now she's being shoved in the battle royal because they couldn't be assed to think of anything better for her to do at Mania. And before all that the end of her two-year undefeated streak was immediately pushed aside to focus on John Cena sitting in the crowd. They don't give a flying f*** about her and with a unified belt she will never, ever have it again. |

It’s so far being advertised as solely for the Raw woman’s title, nothing so far about the SDL belt being on the line. Their twitter, commentary, etc have just been saying it’s for the Raw belt. Now, that can easily change come next week, but I doubt it. I assume asuka will get it back eventually if not at Backlash. |

Doesn’t matter who wins or loses, and doesn’t matter what the storyline is. Crying and hugging will happen regardless of how corny it comes off on TV. It’s just a matter of which theme music is playing while that happens. Still hoping for the theme to This is Us blasting to end Mania but that might be too dramatic. |

Now that I think about it they might have just did this because the writers were too lazy to come up with an opponent for Asuka for wtestlemamia so take it away from her give it to Charlotte so becky cam have both belts because you know them they always do an Overkill when they think somebody is a fan-favorite not knowing will get sick of them because of too much which you might end up doing with kofi abd new day. My God they getting a strowman OP booking!
