I don't know why they even do the cheap heat with the baseball hats. Just show this photo. The guy wins and it isn't even Wrestlemania.

I bet those two SNL goofs will be the last 2 guys with Braun before he eliminates them to win.
And maybe Nicolas will appear to help him win it.

Also, like....uh...are there other people in the battle royale? The entire WWE mid-to-low card will be eliminated in the first 2 minutes so that we can get to this compelling storyline's possible conclusion.

I think Braun is the worst part of this. I got second hand embarrassment when when roommate walked in on this segment. Braun was so corny. Ever since they started giving him a load of mic time he's pretty much been cornball central. His "scary" wrestler voice. Ending every promo with his cute little get these hands catchprhrase. Nah bro.

I can see one or both of them getting an "accidental" elimination or two on some of the lower card guys like Crews or Hawkins along the way.

If nothing else, this is a great way for WWE to induct Colin Jost's and Michael Che's direct-to-DVD asses into the WWE Hall of Fame in like 2029.

I’m going to come out and boldly say WAY more people are aware of what happened on SNL on Saturday then what’s happening in WWE, at least from the sites that cover such a thing I see on social media that aren’t wrestling. On the flip side....I mean, USA’s owned by NBC so...contracted crossover? *shrug* I don't think was saying that WWE is bigger than SNL, just that... As best I could tell doing some digging it seems like of late the show generally does about seven million viewers. Substantial, but not really gigantic for network TV and that's still only actually about 2% of the country watching it, and from what I understand it has basically no international presence. There's not really very much room to attract anyone through this, especially since I really haven't seen much of anywhere bringing up that it's even going on. And even if it does since it's going to be in the Andre people will probably just watch it on Youtube and that'll be that. Like, it really seems like if this isn't an NBC thing then it's just Vince going, "What's cool with the kids in New York?" and it being the first show that came to mind. It's also 7 million viewers at 11:30 PM through 1 AM on a Saturday night, not to mention all the views of individual bits on internet platforms. Those are killer numbers for the timeslot.

I like it but I think Micheal Che and Colin Jost are really funny, and just don't have much time for Strowman anymore for anything but goofball storylines like this. I think Che and Jost are great.... but I just cannot get into this at all.

I'm curious how a pair of comedians whose whole thing is being on a live show are such horrifically stilted speakers. They couldn't sound more phony if they were holding the script the whole time. Funnily enough, given SNL staffers write their own sketches, it's probably the same as WWE - they just can't turn this shitty writing into something coherent.

I’d say it’s a waste of Braun but really he has a history of not being involved in any sort of big angle for mania. He’s been featured sure but when you consider he is a big dude who has been super pushed, they have never had anything juicy for him to do at mania. Unless I’m forgetting something.

Even though things generally suck across the board, this sticks out as being especially awful.
Braun comes off like an entitled douchebag bully, Colin is absolute cringe, and Che has a perpetual "I know this sucks" look on his face -- that just might be how he always looks, though.
