Trevor Bauer has apparently been traded to the Reds, as part of a 3 team deal with the Padres.

Puig's going to Cleveland, and Taylor Trammell is headed to San Diego.

Trevor Bauer to Cincinnati
Yasiel Puig & Franmil Reyes to Cleveland along with prospect Logan Allen
No. 1 Reds prospect Taylor Trammel to San Diego.
Cleveland subtracted a frontline SP for two big-time power threats to go along with Ramirez, Lindor, and Santana. I figure Puig will play more RF than Reyes as he's kind of a butcher out there.
Meanwhile, the Yanks get jobbed out by the D-Backs. Voit looks to be IL-bound with a strained lower back, SP trade prospects are drying up and whoever wins between the Rays and Sox gets one game closer in the standings.
Sucks.

there goes any trade value. Guy's just not meant to pitch in NY. Don't think it will. A lot of teams were interested before tonight and he was still blowing saves then. Still 25. Remember that Carlos Beltran started his Met tenure out rough too. |

Voit to the IL with a sports hernia and surgery is on the table according to Boone which could sideline him 6 weeks. David Hale also is put on the IL
Could force them to not trade Clint as they will need his bat in a DH role if Voit is out. Not like they can't move Andujar but yeah injury could complicate things

I think the part people are overlooking is Franmil Reyes, who I think can be real good. Bauer won't re-sign, Puig seems like he'll just bounce around the rest of his career, Trammel has had a bad year in the minors and could go either way.
