DBacks apparently want Clint Frazier and 3 prospects for Robbie Ray. Yankees aren't interested in giving up that much.

Think the Dbax will regret not trading Ray if he stays put.
Andy Martino says Mets getting tons of bites on Wheeler. Braves, Rays, Astros, and Yankees are the top 4 teams in.

The Robby Ray to Yankees deal is “dead” at the moment
Don’t look like yanks are going to get anyone. I think they need to move this deadline back two weeks with no more waiver deals

Yankees got to think carefully with these type of deals because acquiring pitchers in trades have been hit and miss and while Frazier is suspect in the field, his bat plays and you can keep that Besides that I’d trade andujar over him and mad they didn’t move him in the off-season when they could have

Both teams pulled off a trade that helps both? The Marlins are deep in young pitching, but they need bats. The Diamondbacks are set at short with Nick Ahmed, but can use young pitching.

Brian Cashaman needs to be fired, he stinks at his job, he is too cheep to get any good pitch, it is a disgrace.

The Cubs got Nicholas Castellanos from the Tigers. Cubs atruggle against leftie and he crushes them. So he fills a need.

Yanks better hope Sevy comes back to form cause not at least getting some type of pitcher is crazy whether BP or rotation

Houston just upgraded from favorites to overwhelming favorites to win the WS with the Greinke addition. They weren’t starved for starting pitching like the Yankees were, but went out and got who they needed to get to try and get over the top. Cashman , sits in the office with his thumb up his ass waiting for something to fall into his lap.
I can foresee the excuse. “Well, we have Severino, Stanton, Betances and Montgomery coming back so that’s like a trade on its own.”
At some point, you’ve got to cash in your chips and try to get yourself over the top. Astros want a second WS. Yankees on the other hand...

And don't get me wrong I understand the method to the madness
Getting Betances and Sevy back along with a forgotten Montogomery are additions and can be looked at as trades but yeah neither of those guys have pitched and they will take time to come back so you're betting on them being their best when shit can go left

Well let's calm down on Greinke, I have seen him in the post season, he hasn't impressed me. I am not losing sleep over Greinke, we can beat him, the Mets beat him in 2015 for goodness, but still the fact Cashman does nothing pisses me off.

I'm not killing Cashman for not getting Greinke because Greinke's not been a sure thing in the postseason. Greinke's also got the Yankees on his No Trade List so he wasn't ever going to the Bronx. Can't trade a guy to a team when he doesn't want to go there and has the ability to say so.

The only thing that sucks is that he ended up in Houston, but it's not like the Yankees had any say in the matter.

Can't trade a guy to a team when he doesn't want to go there and has the ability to say so. Plus he has his anxiety issues, so wouldn't work in New York anyway. And I have my doubts the pressure in Houston will be too much for him.
