She talks about other stuff but figured this would be the one focused on. She tried to spin this as best she can and it is very clear she holds Asuka in high regard and wants to do more with her but hopefully one day (preferably Mania) Asuka gets her wins back off her and they continue to tell their story

I think she dealt with that question as well as she could.

If WWE had any sense, with Becky most likely being on Raw after WM, they'll do with Asuka what they did with Becky last year. She already had the crowd support before, but now that they feel for her even more, she should be the top face along with Kofi on SDL.

Charlotte handled that with class and not only that but she gave props to Asuka as best she could. She's always doing that with her whether it's nodding to her and saying "thank you" after she beat her for the title last week (which many people didn't see) to giving props to Asuka on Twitter directly after. I'll go on and say that Charlotte's given more props to Asuka than any other woman she's wrestled with and that's saying something.
Tha Queen.

Classy awnser and I agree with her,but I find ironic Charlotte talking about the omission of a wrestler making the Story better.

Yea, what jumped out at me is her saying she wanted to make Asuka proud as opposed to putting on the best match possible. She really holds Asuka in the highest regard and just a gesture like this goes a long way in appreciation from the other side.

It reminds me of when Kofi was saying that he wanted to make Ali proud since he took Ali's Chamber spot. Wrestlers like Charlotte and Kofi are truly there to make others grow.

This is why Charlotte's usually considered one of the best people in the locker room. She gives as much love as she gets and, outside of storylines obviously, I've only seen her bring people up instead of tearing them down.

Yea you can see how both of them realize the importance the sacrifice that was made for them
Hell, Charlotte is in this match for a few reasons but now they put the title on her to continue to put over the importance of this match
Kofi is the biggest case in a while of right place and right time and it is also important for him to show Ali roadblocks get in the way but don't put your head down
Two people that know they are entering the biggest matches in their lives but it took sacrifices to get there and they won't forget it

To add to the Kofi situation, I was just listening to a Kofi interview on Booker T's show and he not only mentioned the Ali situation but he mentioned one reason of joining New Day was passing on his knowledge to Xavier and Big E, just showing them the ropes for a bit. See, people like these two are great for the roster as a whole. You need more of them and less of others who are only out for themselves.

Asking these kinds of questions to the talent is a damned if you/damned if you don't situation. If they voice negatively towards the booking decisions, it could impact their position in the company. If they act like there's no problem, then they're a "corporate shill" and undeserving of their accolades.
Yeah, I do believe that Charlotte has had more than her fair share of accolades in the past. But blaming her for winning the SDL Women's Title for the triple threat match and knocking Asuka out of any "real match" for WrestleMania is the equivalent of blaming Baron Corbin for the ratings. They are only doing the best they can with what they're given, and until some serious changes happen it's all these guys can hope for until then.

Yea, besides that Kofi needed that change up in his life and those guys were the ones to do it. On the flip side they both love and respect Kofi and have been saying for years they also wanted New Day to make him a world champ so it's crazy to see all this stuff come full circle
I think thankfully a lot of individuals aren't out for themselves in this environment of WWE which could be good or bad depending on who you ask but individuals like Kofi, Charlotte, Roman give off this big family vibe and you believe it to be true

Charlotte's great, she could have a massive ego but instead she's one of the most selfless people they have. She helped Alexa out a lot when she was down in developmental and not popular because of her lack of prior wrestling experience.
I didn't like her beating Asuka for the title, but it's not like Asuka was going to be on the main show as champ either. I'm sure (well, hoping) she and Asuka will work together again after WM and right the ship.

LOL WWE isn’t telling any story that involves Asuka here. Like she’ll get more matches with Charlotte and might even win one sometime, but there’s no long term plan.
Good safe corporate answer from her there.

Bullshit this is a story. I appreciate Charlotte putting over Asuka's talent and she doesn't strike me as an egotist but the corporate spin on this answer is ridiculous.

Good safe corporate answer from her there. I don't know what anybody is expecting her to say. Is this some sort of "I don't like seeing her on TV, so I want her to say something mean and toxic so I feel more justified in my negative opinion of her" thing, for some people? (Maybe it's not for you, but I'm absolutely sure that it is for some people.)

The best answer is probaly a "No comments "sort of responde "She is a great competitor and I hope the best for her" is probably what I would have said.

I am not sure what people expect Charlotte to say. She isn’t going to say “Yea, my boss is a dumbass for not seeing what she could really do for this company” a few days before he is about to pay her a million bucks for one days work. And she isn’t going to say “Asuka sucks and that’s why she isn’t doing anything important” because 1. It isn’t true and B. Charlotte is cool.

She gave the best possible spin answer possible
She's not going to bury her coworker nor is she going to shit on her boss
She gave Asuka all her props and put the attention fully on her and how much she respects her

She gets too much flack IMO. I'm starting to hope Charlotte wins at WM now.
