They're classy comments and its obvious that her and Asuka have a great deal of mutual respect for each other. (I think it attests even more to how good that SDL match was that it happened on such short notice--that morning Charlotte was talking to ESPN about how there were 4 women's matches at Mania, showing how late the decision to do the title change was) It follows her standard practice on social media too, where she goes out of her way to praise and defend her female coworkers, including giving Ruby Riott more promotion before her Elimination Chamber match than Raw could be bothered to do. Even her response to main eventing Wrestlemania (https://twitter.com/MsCharlotteWWE/status/1110199161146748928) was a collective one paying tribute to the division as a whole and saying 'we won't let you down' rather than 'I won't let you down'. I suspect a part of it is her background in volleyball, basketball, and other team sports.

There was no excuse to not do Asuka vs Shayna or Lacey or Sonya or Naomi at Mania. The main event didn’t need the Smackdown Title aswell. If they actually did it right from the beginning, there would be no Charlotte at all there. Charlotte is needed besides the title But they did do this backwards. In the end this comes across as a last min decision meaning adding the SD womens title because they want the main event to be as big as possible
Yeah, regardless of what you think about her being in the main event, if the story was true that people backstage weren’t sure what Charlotte brought to the match...maybe I’m a crazy person with no sense of logic but...wouldn’t you have realized that before you put her in the match? Like, even her being a corporate favorite would have been something considering how much Becky has caused in disruption and Ronda has backfired as being the chosen one (in storyline I mean).

I like Charlotte. You can tell she has a lot of respect for Asuka from this answer and the already mentioned "thank you" after beating Asuka last week (in a really f***ing good match). Yeah I've had problems with how they've booked her, but it's not on her, and she's not gonna rock the boat and not do what the boss says, even if she doesn't like it.
She gave the best answer she could that put Asuka over and didn't shit on creative. Props.

Charlotte handled that with class and not only that but she gave props to Asuka as best she could. She's always doing that with her whether it's nodding to her and saying "thank you" after she beat her for the title last week (which many people didn't see) to giving props to Asuka on Twitter directly after. I'll go on and say that Charlotte's given more props to Asuka than any other woman she's wrestled with and that's saying something. Tha Queen. well you know, queens and empresses have that connection that us commoners could never comprehend with our inferior bloodlines and all that. so i'm not surprised by charlotte's comments in the least. <nods wisely>

But then how else could they add to her accolades "Winner of the first women main event at Wrestlemania" AND "Undisputed champion?"
