Like, I picture the outcry when Asuka was relegated from championship match to battle royal two weeks out... Imagine if it was from championship match to not booked at all? It’s an excellent point. Personally, I think the WWE should ignore those people. |

4 hours is on the long side. 7.5 hours is just an unenjoyable endurance test.

another perspective. I live in NYC. I really wanted to go to this (I was at 29) but I'm a teacher and have to get up early. I knew it would run long so I didn't even explore the option of going and buying tickets. It was a great show, but because of the length, I don't regret staying home.

Wrestlemania as a 2 day event 4 hours each night could work better IMO . , but the question is if they would be able to sell out the stadium 2 nights in a row . HOF moved to Thursday , and Takeover remains on Friday

Just because you like wrestling doesn't mean you should feel obligated to watch every single second of every match. If you liked boxing and went to a fight, you wouldn't sit there from opening to closing bell of the whole card (which could easily run 7+ hours).
What does happen in boxing is that the main event will go on at the point where the crowd is at it's peak, and then undercard bouts that had to be cut for time go on afterwards.
Maybe that's an idea, make it so the main event finishes by 11, then have a one hour post-show with the tag titles etc.

If I was travelling overseas for Wrestlemania, 8 hours of live wrestling is worth the money, time and effort to be at the event.
