We were all thinking that someone was going to cause issues for it. We were thinking it was something like a heel Shield screwing Kofi, Undisputed Era debuting, McIntyre , Strowman or hell even Bray Wyatt stopping it. Vince was like "nah, you'll get a team that you might know from the FIVE STAR CLASSIC BEST OF SEVEN FEUD" lmao.

They’re making Sheamus and Cesaro local men.
But nah. They should have wrestled until there was a minute left then Bryan interrupts. That’s their mistake.

If they were going to end up doing Rollins/Kingston v The Bar, they should have just set that up with the opening promo. That way you save a lot of worry.

Sheamus and Cesaro are definitely nice guys, but man, they're boring as a tag team. Great, they're big, brawny dudes who love to fight. But guess what? They also lose all the damn time, so who cares?

Vince McMahon will ruin any goodwill he is able to stockpile in a matter of hours at this point
This RAW showed that.

Were Roman and Drew even there tonight? I saw no mention of them on Bleacher Report.

My God.
For once I watch this show (mainly for the ending) and I really was speachless. It was one of the lamest things I've ever witnessed. Could have had the Shield with Seth turning. Or even Big E turning on Kofi.
And I didn't even know what Cesaro was doing there. WTF

The Raw was fine, it got me hyped for stuff, but man oh man did they make a dumb decision with The Bar. Bryan/Rowen would’ve made more sense. Hell, I would’ve taken top Guy Drew beating the piss out of Seth, but none of that happened. We just sort of got a stale Bar and the top guys getting AEW chants thrown at them.
I’m glad they got a decent reaction by the end, but boy that was boneheaded of them to do. Cody and the Khans have got to be itching for October to get the ball rolling. Because if the entire Barclays center, smart fans or not, chanted for their brand during the tag match that featured the WWE and Universal Champion? Oof.

I know a lot of people were satisfied with Mania last night but I honestly wasn’t.
They got the winners right but the show sucked. It’s like the talent weren’t even trying and the booking/structure of the show was shocking. Rollins beating Brock like that? Orton/Styles being underwhelming as f***? Joe/Rey being a squash? Corbin beating Angle and even facing Angle in the first place? Kofi/Bryan wasn’t anything special as a match either. The main event was okay. Probably the best match.
Moving onto my actual point... WWE needed to do something big tonight. Pretty much everyone is expecting McIntyre or Corbin to be Rollins first opponent. So why be predictable? That doesn’t intrigue fans or keep them watching. They should have absolutely had The Undisputed Era run in and attack Rollins tonight. This would have been a huge moment and Cole/Seth sounds absolutely mouth watering. I’d be tempted to even give the title to Adam Cole right off the bat in a shock move.
But we don’t get exciting, unpredictable things anymore. So you can basically expect everything we predicted months ago to happen. Can’t wait for McIntyre/Rollins!.... said no one ever.

I think most people were expecting an interruption, but there were many options better than The Bar and then having a tag match.

Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo E should f*** off with that. That was a trick to get people to watch to the end. No story or character development was gained with it.

Eh, I didn't really want an actual unification tonight. Just let some goof team like the Bar run in and take a pin instead. I guess someone more important could have done it but let's just let these guys take a victory lap for once.

At the very least, all three major babyface champions survived the night (and in Seth's case, survived the week) with their titles in tact.

I think you're misunderstanding E. He's basically being sarcastic here taking a shot at the shitty tag team match. He knows the fans want to feel great so he understands why the shitty ending is what no one wants.

I can't believe people thought Kofi was actually going to lose the title tonight.
