Take it or leave it this is why that show shouldn't be like going on that late for that long of time.

That isn't a reason to keep the show shorter.
That is a reason to prepare better.
It's amazing that they have managed to keep rewriting the show, sometimes when it is already on air, for their TV tapings.
Not preparing the local transport services for your show going that long is simply unacceptable for a corporation of their size. There is absolutely no way that with that many matches booked they didn't know the show was running way past 10.30.
No wonder wrestling is still seen as f***ing rinky dink compared to real sporting events and live entertainment if they can make this kind of mistake.
By the way, I am absolutely not saying Mania should stay this long. It shouldn't. But the show being long isn't what made this happen, it's gross incompetence by WWE.

The transit is always shit after a show
There was a Beyonce and Jay-Z concert last year that had this same problem so they need to go ahead with that lol

Could’ve been worse. They could’ve hired the Dudleys to handle it.

That flat out says that WWE told them a day before the PPV that they were going long. So the city ignored it or something?

That flat out says that WWE told them a day before the PPV that they were going long. So the city ignored it or something? It might just not have been possible to get enough people to work that late at under a day's notice. And even if the NY/NJ transport people should have been able to pull it together in that short a time, I still vote that this is on WWE for changing it that late when they so blatantly knew they would be making the show that long for months.

They somehow do worse than the MTA at some points, like no service after a certain time?! At least the MTA has late night service. To various degrees of.... success.

Are they going to blame WWE for why there wasn’t enough security to stop the asshole from jumping Bret Hart?

I mean, the show shouldn't be that long.... but outside of letting the Transit authorities of the approximate time the show is going to end, what else are they supposed to do. I remember when I went to 22 at the Allstate Arena it was a mess getting in AND out of the parking lot and that was a simple arena show.

Protip to anyone who goes to a Wrestlemania in the future...If it is out in a separated place from the main "area" of everything else, find one of the independent companies that are doing a bus service. It might cost you an extra $20-$80, but it is so hassle-free and has saved me a few times over. Way better than trying public transportation.
24 was hell to get in and out of...but at 33 Wrestlecon did a bus and it was super smooth. 32 would have been terrible to try and get out of. Wrestlecon and WWN did a bus that year and we were all back to the hotel in a decent time after the show.
I wasn't at 35 but just searching on Twitter it sounds like anyone who took the Wrestlecon bus got back pretty quick.
Any time that one is offered I take advantage of it.
