With how the KofiMania angle was pretty much well-received from its start all the way to Kofi winning at WM, it got me thinking of other angles where WWE managed to keep it consistent from start to conclusion.
What are some good examples of these kinds of storylines?

HBK-Flair through to HBK-Jericho, that was like 3 storylines all flowing together, character development, it was like watching an actual TV show.

The Rock, from joining the Nation to disbanding it. Or, to abbreviate it, The Rock's takeover of the Nation and usurpation of Farooq.

The HBK-Flair thru HBK-Jericho sagas were my first thought.
Similarly, HBK-Taker at WM 25 thru End of an Era at WM 28 was an amazing saga.
Even though the real life injury involved was horrific, Steve Austin being suspended after Summerslam 1997 kickstarted his feud with WWF management, and eventually Vince McMahon. This led to a two year long story with some of the most entertaining moments in the history of Raw.
CM Punk and Jeff Hardy's feud in 2009 carried WWE that year for me. Started with Punk turning heel and cashing in on Jeff after a hard fought victory, ended with a cage match on Smackdown that ended up being Hardy's send-off. Everything in between was amazing and it started the Straight Edge Society gimmick.

Foley's feuds with Edge and Orton. Others might not agree but I thought Foley's feud with the second coming of ECW, leading to Edge/Foley vs. Dreamer/Funk a lot of fun.
I liked Miz vs. Jerry Lawler a lot, and it was basically the only time heel Michael Cole made any sense.
Triple H vs. Eugene was one of my favorite storylines. There was really nowhere to go with Eugene afterwards though.

HBK-Flair through to HBK-Jericho, that was like 3 storylines all flowing together, character development, it was like watching an actual TV show. I love that it is basically THE textbook example of one of the laws of wrestling. The heel can be 100% right and still be the heel because he's being a dick about it. HBK DID pretend to be hurt to beat Batista, and should have just admitted that when Jericho confronted him about it. It's a legitimate strategy, and Shawn was being disingenuous to deny it. Of course, doesn't mean Jericho wasn't being an asshole.

I agree with you, but there were occasions where I don't think they really knew what they were building to. Some weeks, it seemed like the plan was to turn Trish heel on Mickie. Which I think could have worked, but psycho lesbian Mickie was much more entertaining.
