We move on into 1995, which will return us to having Three lists of movies. This is the first list. Vote for your favorite movie from this part of this year, and, as always, explain your choice (if you like), as well as mention any other movies you might have seen on this list, below.

We will also accept Write in Votes (although, please mention it as such) for movies not included on the list I'm getting the choices off of. However, I will not remove any from the list (I can't by that point), so, if you want to make your case why a certain movie isn't a horror film, make it. Hell, you might end up swaying a few voters from going in that direction, but I can't/won't remove it from the list or DQ it.

started off yer usual cheesefest of cheapness
then da alien does it's gooey stuff
and then you SEE the film footage
and you actually feel SYMPATHY for it!
and that's where it got really ..... good

i have all FIVE angel of darkness's ..... for research purposes of course ..... but alas can't find decent sub files for them ..... again for research purposes

VAMPIRE IN BROOKLYN is weird, it's funny, it's moody and atmospheric. I'll give it my vote.

The Prophecy is in the lead, as we are an hour plus away from the end of this poll. However, Vampire in Brooklyn could creep up.

So, The Prophecy wins this one, and will go on to the second round. That's the one I voted for, but I'll be honest with you; it could have easily gone to Castle Freak or The Addiction, as I would put all three on the same level. Good, but not great. However, Christopher Walken getting to chew much scenery as the main antagonist of The Prophecy is what put it a little past the other two. Walken is also in The Addiction, but is only in it for one scene. However, he chews scenery there as well. The Addiction is more of an arty type of vampire movie, but it's pretty cool for being that. Castle Freak, on the other hand, is more traditional horror, although, it has an element of sleaze that almost knocks it ahead of the other two movies I named. Almost.

Finally, there's Halloween 6, which, while not being as bad as Part 5, still wasn't very good. The Producer's Cut is slightly better, but still not enough to qualify it for my vote....unless there was nothing else I had seen on this list, but there was...and the other films were better.
