The main event of the Kerry Von Erich memorial from 1993: Kevin and Chris Adams vs. the Freebirds. Don't think GWF ever included it on their weekly TV of the time. I think that was a non-televised house show (they may not have been able to air it on tv anyway since Hayes was still in WCW at that point). Some of it was seen on TV. Last of the ESPN shows contained matches from the tribute. Not this one, nor others...such as Sid in a tag match against Harlem Heat.

I never knew I wanted to see Peter Brady wrestle Danny Bonaduce until I read this. I was there. You don't want to see it. It was awful. Being fans of shitty wrestling is kind of our entire brand

For me it’s definitely Jake DDT’ing Hogan on the Snake Pit. I still don’t understand why that hasn’t surfaced yet.

Apparently Freddie Blassies last match was against Captain Lou in a steel cage at the Nassau Coliseum in September of 1985. That’s footage I’d love to see.

It’s not really “lost” or anything, but I’d love to see the 1986, 1987, and 1988 Crockett Cups in their entirety. There’s a near complete HQ crowd cam of the second day of the 1987 Cup that was filmed by George Michael’s Sports Machine for a wrestling segment that I’ve found over the years but all I’ve ever seen of the rest is from the clipped VHS releases. And I don’t know if the 1986 Cup even had a clipped VHS release.

I would love to see the actual, professionally shot footage from the WWN taping in February 1994. Heyman booked and used a lot of ECW talent, Crockett was promoting, and it was touted as being shot in HD. I know fancam stuff has popped up, but I'd love it if the real footage ever surfaced.

They were shot and they were shown in full to the live audience before the first Smackdown (not the pilot but the first regular episode) in August 1999. Wouldn't surprise me if that's a Hidden Gem this August. One match from this has surfaced on one of the Pioneer released ECW DVDs. A flaming tables match with Spike and Balls against the Dudleyz, but the lighting is absolutely abysmal and I can see why they wouldn't air it. I don’t think they can show the Blonde Bytch skits after settling with Sable, because I think the skits were aimed at her. This and Brock being part of WWE mean we will likely never see this.

Is there footage of the infamous Ric Flair vs Jack Veneno (I think that's his name) match? The one Flair lost?

Is there footage of the infamous Ric Flair vs Jack Veneno (I think that's his name) match? The one Flair lost? There's a match between the two on youtube although I'm not sure if it's the match. I don't see Piper anywhere on it and the ending looks like it was cobbled together from different sources of different quality so I'm not sure if it's legit.

When I was a kid. I went to a house show that had Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Taker in a casket match. I'd like to see that released.
As far as mythical videos go. I also NEED to see "Strange Kentucky People" from Jericho's library

Was Kurt Angle's tryout match from May 1999 vs Owen Hart even taped? Also, a lot of people seem to demand a Randy Savage vs Undertaker house match that once happened. Was that ever released? This could easily be released this month seeing as its 20 years to the date almost as well as 20 years since Owen Harts death

Lou Thesz once confirmed that Bela Lugosi appeared on a show as Lou's manager, all part of a publicity stunt put together by a mutual friend of the two men. Given the nature of the event, I am convinced footage of it was filmed for potential newsreel use, but to my knowledge, it's never turned up. This would be one of the earliest - if not THE earliest - use of a non-sports celebrity involved in a wrestling event.

Then they kicked out Ed Wood for trying to do a movie without Lou knowing about it.
