Still waiting for the aforementioned Owen/Angle match to pop up on Hidden Gems one day. It was almost certainly filmed, and I'd love to see it even if Angle was green in it. It was long before he formally debuted later that year.
They've shown a lot of never-before-seen clips from dark matches on Something Else To Wrestle With (CM Punk vs Legion of Doom), so those in full would be cool, too.

When I was a kid. I went to a house show that had Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Taker in a casket match. I'd like to see that released. As far as mythical videos go. I also NEED to see "Strange Kentucky People" from Jericho's library I seriously doubt Strange Kentucky People exists. Been tape trading since the early 90s and never saw anyone that had a copy. Hell had never heard of it until Jericho's book.

Isn't there a Flair/Steamboat match from '89 that's better than The Trilogy?

Speaking of Vince/Fritz, did they ever televise any of Ricky Steamboat's 1986 appearances in WCCW?

It was one match, and it was a co-promoted show between Dennis Coralluzzo and Tod Gordon at a hotel ballroom in front of about 250 people. Tape exists, from a camcorder. Nothing worth seeking out. Edit: It's actually on YouTube. Here's a screen shot of Tod walking right in front of the camcorder. Ha! Heh. That's the exact moment that Von Erich's mask was removed (yes, he was wrestling with a mask on - lord knows why, it was clearly him...) He was managed by Woman here as well. And now this got even more depressing...since his opponent was Sal Bellomo, that means the principals of the match are all deceased.

Another Apter Mag Exclusive: how about either of the matches where Dino Bravo (who Sucks, or so I'm told) incapacitates Hulk Hogan?

Or stay on the Tom Magee holy grail list: Magee v.s. Bosworth
Also, I would love to see the entire taped house show match between Shawn and Vader from Anaheim 1996. I was six years old at the time and this is the show where Boy Meets World taped live. July 27, 1996. At some point Corey Matthews and Sean Hunter run out and Vader works an angle with them, from what I recall. Would love to see how it looked from a WWE hard cam perspective.

One of the two (could be both but I don't remember) has said they had a match during that timeframe better than any of the ones that aired. Considering how much better those matches have gotten with age I'm envious of whatever crowd got to see it.

The BMW match was Vader vs. Jake Roberts. It was taped at the October 1996 Anaheim, CA house show. from WWE.com interview with BMW creator JACOBS: It was at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California, and the whole crowd looked at these actors from Hollywood and all in unison started chanting, “You suck!” “Cory sucks!” and “Shawn sucks!” It was a big challenge in our post-production to get out [the chants], so Hollywood became the villain of that evening. WWE.COM: That must have been a different kind of shooting day. JACOBS: It absolutely was. We were stopping the show. [The crowd] had paid to come in and watch wrestling. All of a sudden, they see a girl and a boy dancing and the boos rain down upon us! The funny thing is, I don’t think it was hostile, I think everybody was having a lot of fun. WWE.COM: Was it nerve-wracking to try and work under those circumstances? JACOBS: I wish I could say it was intimidating, but I will actually tell you that it was unintimidating because of how nice everybody was and how they really got behind what the story was we were trying to tell. Eventually, besides the fun the crowd had with us, there were cheers and applause. It was a wonderful episode and worked out well for us.

Regardless, I would love to see what the hard cams picked up, if there were any. I know there was an entire film crew there, and I doubt they were only for ABC Films or whomever produced BMW.

Not wrestling segments, but it would be interesting to see the untelevised Pipers Pit with Shawn Michaels, as well as the early, non-televised Funeral Parlor shows.

I know I have seen some odd people in the crowd at local indie shows. Like the grown woman, has to be mid 20s,that carries around a babydoll but treats it like it is a real baby. Or the fan we nicknamed Stabby. Cause he gets made at anyone cheering heels and challenges them to meet him in the parking lot after the show. I think it exists, but it was overstated the level it was traded. He mentions it in the same breath as Cornette at the Dairy Queen drive-thru video, which by sheer luck happened to be uploaded to YouTube in 2006 just as the platform was taking off and was one of the few wrestling clips from that time to not be pulled, so it got see by a very wide audience. Strange Kentucky People probably hit a different end of the underground tape railroad in the south and never crossed over with wrestling fandom or any one with accessibility to circulate. Considering what people were trying to get their hands on in that era, I can't imagine "these backwoods types acting super weird about wrestling" would be much of a bargaining chip for Johnny Saint or Hayabusa matches.

See the Corny Dairy Queen video was all over the tape traders lists by 97. And when tape trading I not only traded for wrestling but also horror movies and odd stuff like Pastor Gas or Winnebago Man. Never saw anyone with Strange Kentucky People. And with how much people want to see it since Jerichos book it would have shown up somewhere by now. Like how for years you would hear how no 70s era NWA Amarillo footage survived. I know some has. It showed up 6 or so years ago. Ended up getting a copy and passed it around.

I wonder if those tapes Jericho had at his yard sale a few weeks back might have it.
