wow, I get wanting pride in your work/earn your cheque, if I was in the twilight of my career id be quite okay with getting a big fat check with little work.... Some folks don't know what to do with themselves if they're not working. My grandfather went back to work washing dishes in his mid 70's.

WWE looking to overpay Rhyno and still not use him, they’re officially shook.

I’m surprised he wouldn’t take it. Hasn’t he broken his neck ? I get having pride and such but sometimes you got to just take the money in wrestling

There are companies out there with people who don't want to do an ounce of work and still want to get paid handsomely. WWE has a bunch of people who are practically begging to work without caring about money, and they're content to just fling money at them to sit at home.
It's mind-boggling.

I love Rhyno. One of the most underrated talents ever and could have been at least a good upper Midcarder with the right build and credible enough to be a great title contender for a plucky face.
The f*** are you offering paying him double his downside when I’m pretty sure he’s barely been on TV this year? Are you worried the one piece of the puzzle AEW needs for TNT to offer them big money is f***ing Rhyno?!

I don't even think they're afraid of Rhyno in particular being a top guy, they're just desperate to hold on to everyone and hope they can choke out AEW somehow. Even though AEW's most interesting elements are the lesser-known people they're giving a spotlight to and emphasizin as big deals that won't need to come from WWE at all. It's the most insane and backwards situation, but WWE looks to be in total hoard mode right now and own everyone even vaguely notable regardless of worth or name value.

Dudes like 44, gaining rapid weight and probably hurt a lot. Might be easier for him to get out and on with his life. He's old for a journeyman wrestler but young enough to start a second career without the wear and tear and whatever godawful crap is going on with this company.

Shouldn’t their investors be alarmed? If all th we reports are true, they’re offering huge gobs of money to people that seemingly have very little value to the company. I mean, personally, I’m all for it. I hope the talent takes every dime they can get, it they choose to sign. But as a business practice, it seems irresponsible. I mean the WWE made 930 million dollars in revenue last year. A 300,000 dollar raise is a drop in the bucket.

You know, Rhyno is one of those dudes who crowds always got behind if he had anything of substance to do. I remember "we want Rhyno" chants breaking out during his awesome run with Heath that Rhyno himself looked surprised about.

It’s more surprising than the Revival but still not that surprising. With HHH signing so many guys plus AEW starting the Indies are really depleted. A guy like Rhyno could do great there and have much more freedom.
AEW could also have interest in him though I think Rhyno definitely seems like a guy that would give AEW the stigma of signing any ex-WWE guy.
Even then though apart from the indies and AEW there is still NJPW, ROH, Impact, etc. Some of those companies are starting to look rough and a guy like Rhyno could use that to his advantage. I could see him using his connection with Bully Ray to get a cushy gig in ROH.

If AEW went after Rhyno, he would more than likely be used maybe once or twice a year(probably like how I predict someone like Billy Gunn will be used), and kept off screen as a producer.
