If they do it will probably be John Moxley. And it will finally prove that Dean Ambrose leaving the wwe wasn't a work. Because there are people who still believe that. When the announcement was made about the new title that Mick foley was revealing on raw on Monday people thought that it was going to be the hardcore title. They also thought that Dean Ambrose was going to compete for it.

Who is the modern day Lex Luger? Meaning a guy who is constantly pushed and protected and has multiple flirtations with becoming "The Guy" but never quite makes it all the way. The thing about Luger it's that it worked not only because he worked for the WWE not too long before that and that he was a mid level top star but it also worked cause he was a WCW homegrown returning. Someone that had issues and a past with several WCW current guys. Yet he confronted Hogan on that show almost in a "what are you doing in my company" type of way. So it was intriguing on many levels. The one that perhaps could have that effect is AJ Styles. Cause he was with and against some of these guys before. (of course it won't happen but still...)

Forget the "Luger" moment, what about a Scott Hall through the audience moment?

Oh, and there were just recently rumors that he worked under a hood for some room with like 25 people in it. No rumor. It was him.

It'll be Ambrose. At this point if we don't hear "MOXLEY'S HERE" within the next 3 months then that would be a bigger shocker than him appearing.

How weird that the closest they got to a "Luger moment" beyond Moxley's arrival was Luger's mid-90s WWF top-spot babyface rival. Well, neither him nor anyone directly involved had officially confirmed it was him, so I erred on the side of caution. You never know. It could be the return of Jim Neidhart. I...don't think Jim's returning for anything.

Two Luger moments, in Moxley and Bret. Three, if you count outtanowhere Awesome Kong.
Not too shabby.

I only watched with two other people, but I did immediately think it and marked out when it happened.

I feel Kong was their Luger moment. Everyone kind of figured Moxley was coming. Bret was a good choice for a title introduction, but he made no impact. No one ever saw Kong coming tho

No one ever saw Kong coming tho At a stretch, you could have said “Well, GLOW Season 3 is filming in Vegas so it could be a possibility” but there wasn’t a reason to even say that.
