I noticed the size of wrestlers back when I got into wrestling in the early 90s as a kid.
Then Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels stepped up and I never cared about it nor did I notice it ever again.

I was too young to catch him wrestle, but his commentary with Gorilla was always great. In some ways better than Monsoon than Heenan; it was a different kind of chemistry, they were able to play off each other in a way that felt over-the-top but still came across as legit sports commentators.

I mean, I've certainly always noticed it but I've never at all cared. If Rey Mysterio beats Big Show, sure, I can buy that so long as the match gets there in a way that makes sense.

I don't care if Brock would whoop everyone in a fight, he bores me and I was rooting hard for Balor to beat him at the Rumble and I marked when Seth beat him at WM. I'll admit I had a weird issue with Adam Cole's body at one time, but I got over it. That may have been me just looking for any reason not to like him (I'm a fan now)

I hate weight divisions in wrestling. Some of the cruiserweight title guys are the same size as guys competing for IC/ tag etc

In a sense? My entire fandom. In the sense of I was always drawn to wrestlers with distinct looks or something about them that made them stand out from the rest of the pack. It didn't matter if that was a black hat and an overcoat, a red and black bodysuit and mask, a big bushy beard and fuzzy boots, looking like an Oscar award statue come to life, dressing like a metal band rockstar, some jacked pasty ginger, whatever.
In the sense I think you're referring to and that Vince classically is depicted as being? Never. I don't care if you'r a skinny fatass or Dusty Rhodes or Scott Steiner at his most Big Poppa Pump, if you've got a look that's unique, I'm at least going to be interested enough to give you a chance to see what you're about.
Not to say some guys don't transcend their lack of a unique look with their charisma and ability, but it helps.

The only body thing I've ever noticed is when folks veins go all icky.

I don't think I ever did, just my contrarian nature made it look that way.
Back when the roster was all Big Guys, I thought the small/speed guys weren't getting the TV time they deserved.
Now that the roster skews smaller/faster, I actually want to see big guys (except Shrek Sullivan, I guess) on TV.

Mostly when Big Show was bumping for Rey Misterio and Rey was barely at Show’s navel.

HHH calling Punk a "skinny fatass" stands out to me as one of the more tone-deaf, failing to take the pulse of the audience insults of recent wrestling history. Throwing out what was basically a "do you even lift?" betrayed a fundamental misreading of what audiences wanted and were dying for at the time, and it makes HHH's aggressive attempts to rebrand himself as Proud Father Of 1,000 Tiny Indie Worker Children all the funnier in context.
It's a three ring circus, and there should always be room for people of all sizes if they can work. Not "doing a lot of moves" but being able to hook the crowd and tell a story. I'm fine with little flippy dudes, giant monsters, ripped bodybuilders, '70s and '80s style wrestlers who look like your uncle if they can convince me of the role they're playing. Just give them a chance to do what they're good at and don't pull the rug out from under them when they actually succeed at it.

Especially in NXT, where the major players have been lately CW-sized guys... it's very samey. Gargano and Cole throwing superkicks left and right in a PWG knockoff match really opened my eyes to this. But seeing a big man-little man match can be good. I loved watching Roman against guys like Bryan, AJ, and Finn. I loved DIY vs. AOP, and War Raiders vs. Black and Ricochet. That's also a reason why I kinda threw some shade at AEW. Aside from decently thick guys at 6' (Kenny, Jericho, Hangman), and some 6'2'' lankier guys (Cody, Chuckie T, Trent), it's almost all "Cirque Du Soleil" acrobat-looking cruiserweights. While they're picking up mid-range indy guys, I want them to pick up some 6'3'', 230+ guys like Mike Orlando, Mik Drake, Parlow, Odinson, etc. Hell, I'd even settle for some short chunky guys (thinking dudes in the style of Goto, EVIL, Ishii but obviously not them). And that's kind of why I would have liked AEW to sign the dude I was stanning. I can't tell how tall he is, but he seems to be a thick guy who likes to use power offense.

It doesn’t make a difference to me. I like good wrestlers, not good bodies.

I long ago realized the difference between show muscles and work muscles. Some guys look incredibly built, they've got the huge biceps. However, ask them to lift anything for more than 30 seconds and they're winded. Some of them will even admit that their muscles are for show. Meanwhile, there are plenty of folk who on the surface don't look near as big but could go all day and then some with heavy lifting. While it is nice sometimes to see those larger than life guys, if they can't really do anything with the size they can bugger off. If smaller guys aren't that good or convincing they can bugger off too. You convince me that you can hold your own in the ring and I'll be happy to give you a chance regardless of size/body.

I've never been a body guy. I thought Ric Flair was the shit as a kid and he was never as cut as others on the roster. And I enjoy Zack Sabre Jr's work. If you can put on a good performance and you have charisma, I'm on board with you.
