Colts have been active this week. Two practice squad changes to bring back previously waive/injured players (WR Marcus Johnson and CB Shakial Taylor) to the practice squad, signing DT Trevon Coley from the Ravens practice squad, and trying out a bunch of players. Of the three players that just lost their jobs, I would be surprised if no one claims DE/DT Jihad Ward off of the waiver wire. Jalen Collins may be done, but someone might take a chance on a 2015 2nd round pick even though he has now been discarded by two teams. Hey we'll see you this weekend at Arrowhead man!

The only reason I have any optimism going into Sunday is that one of the few teams who has had more defensive struggles than the Colts, particularly against the run, are the Chiefs. Believe it or not, but Jacoby Brissett and Patrick Mahomes are part of a three way tie for most TDs this season (tied at 10 along with Lamarr Jackson), so this game very well could be a shootout if both TY Hilton and Marlon Mack are healthy enough to play.

This is why you dont take excessive money out of a credit card. People have alerts these days so you'll get caught quickly because they definitely have the receipt.

Considering what we鈥檙e asked to pay at Gillette Stadium, most Patriots fans probably didn鈥檛 even bat an eye at this news.

Carr and Gruden defending Burfict. Ok, Carr...let's see you say it's excessive when somebody tries to cave your head in, or one of your teammates.
Keep your mouth shut, and say it's up to the NFL and player reps to handle it. This is like a baker's dozen of offenses.

If the Patriots are going to have to pay Antonio Brown eventually why not just resign him and make him work for it?

This is a sneaky huge loss for the Patriots. I know Gostkowski has had his share of struggles with extra points this season, but he's been about as reliable as you can ask an NFL kicker to be before this year. Over his 14 seasons in New England, he's only missed eight games, hitting field goals at an 87.4 percent clip. And before his extra point woes this season, Gostkowski missed only seven PATs over his first 13 years. He was also nails in last year's playoffs, hitting a difficult 47-yarder in Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game and nailing the 41-yarder that sealed Super Bowl LIII. Now, according to Adam Schefter, the Patriots are waffling between signing journeymen cast-offs like Mike Nugent (last seen going 11-for-13 for the Cowboys and Bears in 2017) or Kai Forbath (who last kicked for Jacksonville in 2018). This is not an enviable position to be in. The difference between having a reliable kicker like Gostkowski and a retread like Nugent and Forbath is night and day. Instead of confidence at any kick under 45 yards, you're chomping your fingernails at what might happen. Just ask the Bears, Browns, Buccaneers, or any countless number of teams who've been shuffling in kicker after kicker over the past few years in the hope of finding one who can split the uprights.

Gostkowski has been awful this season and has honestly been mediocre to slightly above average for a few years now.
Granted, with the horrible kicking in the NFL the past year or so that's more reliable than some other unenviable teams positions, but I don't think it totally ruins the Patriots either,

Patriots sign Mike Nugent
He will be their 4th kicker in a quarter century

People can say oh this time it wasn't even that bad, it didn't have to be for a year but yes it did. He has done this shit too many times and you don't get the benefit of doubt nor deserve it

And him pretty much saying, "Yeah, I don't give a f***." by laughing and blowing kisses as he runs off the field. Dude should be done in the NFL. Go join AB in the XFL on the new team, the Cucamonga f***-Ups.

Jay Gruden has apparently resigned himself to getting fired this season. Amid rumors that he never wanted to draft Haskins in the first place, he has named Colt McCoy the Week 5 starter against the Patriots. At least he could use the excuse of breaking in a rookie QB if he started Haskins the rest of the year and still stunk.

The f***ing Grudens are head strong This is dumb, don't tease your fans on the future and then pull it back. Don't flip flop on it. If you want to sit Haskins all year to learn then do it but don't put him in a situation where he will most likely fail and instead of letting him learn from his mistakes you sit him back donw I'm pretty sure the excuse is we don't want to play him against the Pats and their defense but the kid has to learn and go through his growing pains so getting his lumps agains the Pats isn't the worst thing in the world

After looking bad in his first game it would be stupid to play him against the elite Pats D, IMO. If he starts the following game all should be good.
We鈥檝e all seen young QB鈥檚 get broken before... can鈥檛 let it happen to your guy.

Yeah, but other than the Dolphins in Week 6, the Jets in Week 11, and possibly the Giants in Week 16 there aren't any defenses he would face this season that wouldn't be rough on a rookie QB.
