In 2014 when the Shield first disbanded, I was hyped to see this dog off the leash. We had glimpses, but never the full picture. Now that the dog is loose? He’s out for f***ing blood. I’m so hyped for Jon’s future as well the future of AEW. Especially if they’ve got a little relationship with NJPW.
That line about knocking the pillars down, declaring war, and writing the history books instead of reading them was top notch stuff and made me incredibly hyped for the fall TV show. October can’t come soon enough

The promo was great, but that New Japan hype vid was epic. Whoever is producing these things, AEW hire them. That was a money vignette.

It's crazy how he became arguably the hottest guy in the industry off of one night. Even that NJPW promo vid got me hyped. I'm all in for whatever he wants to do, damn. I mean... is it? He was the same guy that was wrestling multiple times a day in multiple cities for WWE in 2016. They squandered him so hard, and now that there is an alternative like AEW, another stage for wrestlers to perform on, they are going to hold every single contract as long as possible. I wouldn't be surprised if they start tacking extra days onto every contract they have. |

Date on that NJPW teaser was June 5th.
Dominion is on June 9th.
Seeing him make an appearance at Dominion 6.9 would be insane, even if it isn't to work a match given how quickly this is all coming along.

Yeah it's crazy when you imagine where he was in WWE and mind you I'm factoring the idea that AEW didn't exist this time last year nor did we know he was thinking about leaving. After reports came out about WWE looking into those who's contracts are going to run out I wouldn't be surprised to see they increase the money even more.
What I REALLY wanna see are the reports this week about AEW backstage, the Moxley interview and most importantly the WWE backstage notes. Man, this is gonna be an amazing week.
