I tried to include all the songs I could think of that became hits, or otherwise notable, in the U.S. & internationally. As well as the only German language song to win at a Eurovision.

I voted SchieBe simply because I'm a Little Monster and it's an underrated dance track, but Der Kommisar makes it closer than I thought.

I don’t know how well known it is, but I’ve always enjoyed the song Mitternacht by E Nomie ever since I first heard it in a fan made video about the final enemy of Digimon Tamers, of all things.
I can’t speak for the lyrics, but I’m hard pressed to think of another song that matched the feel of the images so perfectly.
