How are you liking Jericho new finisher?
I think it’s pretty dope. The fact that he could hit it out of nowhere adds an interesting element and I liked that while commentary talked it up and even doubted it, Jericho himself never pulled the move out until the last min

Its pretty cool.I think it would look better with someone with a better body type for a power move I like when people build up new moves, I feel like WWE doesnt do that enough.

I like how he has to pull out something new to beat Omega.

Yeah, plus he put some spin on it using his hips, easily can be argued more technical than power not even considering it was after a hard match in which Kenny already had a f***ed up face

I wasn’t a big fan, but I get that a straight back elbow should technically be a KO if done correctly. I’ll give it some slack in this usage, as Omega’s bloody nose from earlier in the match and overall sell made for a nice image.

I like it. I think my favorite part of it is that he has to turn his back on his opponent in the process of doing the move, which plays into the name nicely.
Beyond that, I could see there being good potential counters to it down the line, once it's established. I also kinda like him saying it's exclusive to AEW, though I am not sure if he simply meant the debut of it would be exclusive. I doubt he'll hit it on Okada if he's trying to protect the move, though, since obviously, I highly doubt Okada's going to stay down.

Jericho has been training MMA? Welp, we definitely need a Jericho/Shane/Punk/Minoru Suzuki round robin now. lol

I dig it. It's a simple sort of move to hype up as a big deal, which is definitely a direction I can approve of finishers going in. Straightforward, looks effective, doesn't serve as some nightmare escalation factor making everything more insane than what came before it.

At worse he misses and gets hit with the rainmaker But yeah I like it strictly as an AEW move. Keep using the codebreaker elsewhere to continue building this up Also smart of Jericho to have a move where he doesn’t have to bump but it doesn’t seem the codebreaker has taken a lot of wear and tear on his back

I'll give Jericho this: despite being 48 and having a dad bod he can still go in the ring.

I loved it. You had commentary talking about it and questioning whether or not it was even real, the match had gone for so long that everyone expected Omega to win at any minute, then the end comes and Jericho just elbows Omega's f***ing head off. Instant most terrifying move in the company and now Adam Page looks like a mega underdog going in to the title match.

I love how Jericho keeps trying new things to avoid getting stale but I think I like the name more than the move. I like it. Grab the wrist, spin him round but then Jericho spins back again and goes for it.

If they had more matches and time for a story i would have win the first one by constantly countering the Rainmaker into the Judas effect. and then have the announcers play up the fact that the judas effect is a natural counter so the next match Okada wins by finding a way to work around the judas effect

I can imagine him going for it and Okada ducking it as part of the finish. I've only ever seen like 4 or 5 Okada matches but I LOVE the rainmaker just cos it's so counterable.

I like it a lot, for the same reason I like Omega's V-Trigger and Okada's Rainmaker. Any striking exchange with Jericho can now lead to a finish and that makes the matches a lot more unpredictable. I just wish he hadn't named it after a lame song by his lame band.

It comes across like a desperation move and one Jericho can break out at any moment I liked how he stressed he barely won and Omega kicked his ass which in effect sells how dangerous it is

I mean I leaned more biblical Judas turned his back on Jesus and for Jericho to have to hit the move he needs to turn his back on his opponent. Just a nice little play on the name
