Did anyone see anything? I've heard mixed reports on that he wasn't doing anything beyond the normal. I also heard that he was making lewd gestures to Allure.

Pulling him backstage or spitting on him is total bush league bullshit, you're a heel, you're supposed to elicit a response. I also enjoy how a dude who cut some of the most f***ed up ECW promos there were is telling this guy about respect.....it's a god damn show everyone needs to relax and just have a good time with it.

This seems like one of those 'somewhere in the middle' situations. Did the fan go a little too far in hatin' on the heels? Sure, maybe. Did Mandy/Velvet/Bully all go too far in their responses? Yes, definitely. The act of bringing him backstage was too much, he probably shit bricks literally, and whatever Ray had to say could've been done out in the crowd. But I can at least understand those two wanting to defend the notion that they're 'not just together for the sex and the wrestling success' and to not delve into that anyway. (And I'm sure Ray wanted to refute himself being any kind of turd.  ) Also I've officially lost all respect for Mandy Leon. You do not spit on fans. You do not spit on anyone. |

This is one of those stories where I think everyone comes off as a bit of a dork, but the wrestlers here are definitely the biggest dorks of all. Imagine being such a weenie that you are a heel but can't handle getting heel heat.

Thanks. Seriously, sounds like Bully and Velvet are getting soft-skinned in their old age, and I hope someone gave them at least a warning about this behavior. Kick the fan out, or make it part of the show; gestopo crap like this is not a good look. Chalk this one up to "when keeping it kayfabe, goes wrong." Can anyone recall any other incidents where this happened, and the fan wasn't ejected? |

Bully Ray has always been a jerkoff. I remember so many people telling me that he took the original sign guy at ECW outside and threatened him so he’d never bring his signs to shows again. He jacked a loyal fan and basically stole his gimmick from him. That’s when they were trying to get Sign Guy Dudley over. They were even competing with their signs for a couple weeks but the fan was showing him up so Bully Ray took it upon himself to physically intimidate the guy.
Pulling this fan out of the crowd to take him backstage for a private confrontation with Bully Ray over such dumb stuff is ridiculous. The fan never made physical contact so I don’t see a reason for it, unless Mandy Leon really wanted to apologize for spitting on him because apparently she did make contact with him.
Good luck ROH. Your attendance sucks now. This news should really help get those numbers up. Or not.
