Taylors response felt like he didnt want to get himself fired from the company so he was defending Bully.
F***ing hell. Dude, when people cross lines, you don't come to others' defense on the matter, you don't have others come to your defense, you don't ask "Hey man, what's your issue?", you don't spit on them, you don't pieface them, you don't bring them backstage to intimidate them with a lecture on "being a fan". You get security and you get them out of there. How is that so hard for these idiots to understand? He's also lying. He said we've only heard the fan's perspective, but Bully, Velvet, Mandy, and Angelina have all talked about the incident. So we're hardly getting only one side.

So how much can we blame ROH's attendance woes on this?

From tonight's show - You talk about fans sending a message. That’s perfectly expressed.

So how much can we blame ROH's attendance woes on this? Honestly? Not much if any. I honestly think this has been a long time coming as ROH has absolutely sucked for a while and the G1 show was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I honestly think this has been a long time coming as ROH has absolutely sucked for a while and the G1 show was the straw that broke the camel's back. The Bullet Club was carrying them for so long. Their over reliance on the Jays (Lethal and Briscoe), taking way too long to give Dalton Castle the title, and just putting on boring shows, meant all it took was for one more thing to cause fans to say "Screw it".

You had Shane Taylor go over Bandido, Castle over Dragon Lee and Matt Taven over Jeff Cobb. ROH really knows how to create new stars, the only right moves were Gresham over Silas Young and Rush beating Flip Gordon. Rush seems to be one of the only new signings they are strongly pushing.

If you picked they'd do nothing about it, you win! I'm sorry but bringing up the Code of Honor for a real life event is just way too carny for me.

The only surprise is they even bothered to release a press statement saying they would be doing nothing. I thought this was already over and the so called "investigation" was just something to do in hopes of calming down the fanbase, which is almost non-existent now. At this point, I am just wondering how long until Sinclair pulls the plug? They can't be making money at this point.

The Code of Honor mention is just damn goofy. It also lacks any kind of an acknowledgment of a mistake being made, so I don't really know what ROH fans are meant to get out of the statement. Are we to think they'll do better if they don't even think they did anything wrong? The only surprise is they even bothered to release a press statement saying they would be doing nothing. I thought this was already over and the so called "investigation" was just something to do in hopes of calming down the fanbase, which is almost non-existent now. At this point, I am just wondering how long until Sinclair pulls the plug? They can't be making money at this point. Sinclair doesn't really need them to make money, they're there just for relatively cheap programming for their syndication stuff. That said, if Delirious gets phased out more and more as head booker, I wouldn't be shocked. Even if Sinclair barely puts any money into ROH, they still probably don't appreciate embarrassment like this.

'Ring of Honor issues statement' might as well be code for 'Ring of Honor plays Mad Libs with one of their generic "statement" responses'.
"We have now concluded our internal investigation into the events that occurred in _____location_____ on _____day of the year_____ and have taken appropriate actions with all parties involved. Our Code of Honor, which calls for sportsmanship, respect and honor in- and outside of the ring is a core value of this company and one we will continue to strive to uphold. To all of our loyal and dedicated fans, we apologize for the incident that transpired and we encourage all of our fans to continue attending our events. Furthermore, we promise to continue delivering the best wrestling and the best live experience on the planet. In adherence to Ring of Honor policy, we will not comment further on these matters."

So long as Bully's there and its his own personal fiefdom. What reason is there for anyone to go to ROH

I'm not shocked, again as per the wishes of the mods I'll not moderate/dwell on it, but I've seen similar happen in other companies and no one gets reprimanded. Sad but true.

They really mentioned their Code of Honor in a press release for a non-kayfabe situation? Wow.

They really mentioned their Code of Honor in a press release for a non-kayfabe situation? Wow. The people who have it out for the Code of Honor must be full of evil intent. ... I'm gonna retire that joke, I swear, but seriously; the Code of Honor was created in the beginning of the company's existence to give it purpose in kayfabe and to make heels that ignored the Code more of a reason to hate them. It's what made Raven one of their biggest villains in the first 2 years. Using it as part of your "investigation" is so nonsensical, it befits ROH today.
