Colonel Henry Blake on "M*A*S*H". Also going to include Jack Soo, aka. Detective Nick Yemana on "Barney Miller", because of how the show handled Mr. Soo's real death. And in that same vein, Mr. Hooper on "Sesame Street". Along those lines, the Newsradio that deals with Bill McNeal's death is just heartbreaking to watch, as the cast is openly grieving over Phil Hartman's tragic death throughout the episode.

JT from Degrassi. I saw that death as unexpected. I don't know where the whole backstory what led to his death came from (Something about a riot at a basketball game; I may need to watch those episodes), but that sort of hit me.
Also, Rick from Degrassi. Okay, I know that he was driven over the edge because of some cruel prank, and it didn't help that he was given a terrible reputation, but that episode arc was pretty hard to watch.

There's a few I could think of, but the first one that came to mind... Fred on Angel. Additionally Wesley on Angel. I will never not cry during that scene.

Buffy's mom. Not because of her death so much, but because of Buffy's reaction to it.

Juey and his half brother and sister in Jude. It slaughtered me in the book and was even worse on film. "Becos we were to menny." {Spoiler}The marriage of Sue and Phillotson is not a success, as she refuses to give herself sexually or romantically to her husband. She leaves Phillotson to join Jude in what turns out to be a rough life, moving from place to place as Jude picks up occasional work as a stonemason. Jude learns that Arabella bore a son, which she named Jude ("Juey") soon after she left Jude. The boy comes to live with his father Jude, and Sue. Sue gives birth to two children. Agnostic and independent, she refuses to legalize their arrangement by marriage.
Sue and Jude are forbidden a permanent rental lodging because their living arrangement without marriage is considered scandalous. Sue tells Juey that the family cannot stay long at their present lodging because there are too many of them. The next day Sue and Jude return to their lodging to find that Juey has killed his half-siblings and committed suicide, hanging himself. His suicide note says the reason: "Becos we were to menny."

An underrated one to me is Mr. Heckles. He's basically just a punchline and they could have handled his death in the same way, but then it's revealed he was a once funny and popular guy that essentially went mad from loneliness and the gang are all "...well, shit" about it. And this was quite a bit before mental health problems were starting to be taken more seriously, so that ep has gotten more powerful.

The two most recent would, of course, be Tony in Endgame. Like, we've been with him from the start. What, like nine movies in eleven years? I knew it was coming, and still felt sad.
The second, and maybe funniest, is the brachiosaur in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Just so sad seeing him walk on the dock like, "Wait! You forgot me!"
I was 35 years old in the theater thinking, "For Christ sake...it's a cgi dinosaur! Don't cry!" Haha.

Envy Now hear me out, Envy was a f***ing animal but the way he took himself out at the end with Hawkeye, Mustang, Scar, and Ed all looking at him was crazy. I felt sad for that crazy thing which itself is a testament to how good a story FMA is

I know Endgame's been out over a month, but I'm still spoilering, just to be kind. {Spoiler} Tony Stark made me blubber like a baby, but I expected that. Black Widow, on the other hand, murdered me because I did *not* see that coming. And she's by far my favorite female in the MCU.

Besides, is it really so bad for me to try and be nice about it?
