I forget, didn't Amazing Red train Private Party? That was why I thought it would be a good trio. They have already talked about being Amazing Red students on the Road To... series.

Knew they had some sort of connection to him, but didn't know off the top of my head if they had been trained by him or just inspired by him.

Connors has obviously really impressed during the G1. I'd put money on that Ospreay, ELP and Robbie Eagles are the last 3 entrants.

Connors maybe impressive but he's a Young Lion and its a given that he's going to lose.
Would've gotten Templario from CMLL or Brian Pillman Jr instead.

Interesting decision to place Ospreay, ELP, TJP, Eagles and Red all on one side of the bracket. Leads me to believe someone like Gresham or Caristico is getting a big push into the finals. Could even see one of them upsetting Ospreay or ELP once there.

Man, why is Gresham up against Taguchi? He always does annoyingly well in these for the comedy job guy, so my boy Jon probably isn't getting out of the first round.

Yeah, I like Taguchi, but I am concerned Gresham is going to get knocked out early, which is unfortunate because I've come to become fond of him and his style.

My problem with Taguchi is that most of the time he's "The guy that does wacky entrances and throws his ass at people", except in tournaments, where suddenly I'm supposed to take him super serial and he almost always reaches at least the semis.

I don't follow ROH news. Is Gresham still signed with them? Someone mentioned that he was unsigned fairly recently.

Something about that bracket just makes it look like one of the weirdest and most oddly balanced tournament brackets I've seen in recent memory

Tetsuya Naito, Jay White and Juice Robinson will be in action on the final night of the tournament.

As always, Naito's showing up to support his Jr. Heavy buddies.
I don't know on Gresham vs. Taguchi; one the one hand, yeah, Taguchi always does well in tournaments, but on the other he's also a guy who can easily eat a loss without losing much with the crowd. Could depend on where Gresham's character is at, he's in the midst of a heel turn in ROH so they could use that to show him getting frustrated with Taguchi and losing that way, or getting more aggressive and winning that way.
