If DBS works Impact, good for him, I guess, and it would mean him getting to spend more time in Canada, certainly, but I dunno how doable it is with the MLW contract. Then again, maybe the two companies can hammer something out. If nothing else, guys like Rich Swann, Ace Austin, and Sami Callihan work both companies, and the Lucha Bros were too, among others, but I don’t know how many of them have or had actual contracts beyond per appearance deals.

Funny thing is, if Okada didn't have that spell in the old TNA, he probably would not have the Rainmaker gimmick, he says himself he got the idea from TNA where Scott D'Amore and Erc Boschoff told him to "make it rain" I know TNA absolutely deserves shit for how they used him, but Okada's still looked at it as good experience, both in wrestling on TV, which is a learned skill, and the sour taste from it did let him come back with defiance.

As a sidebar, Okada also met the Young Bucks in TNA and became friends with them. Then he got them booked in New Japan. They probably could’ve made it big regardless, but Okada getting them into Bullet Club began where we are today.

I love that Okada's completely forgettable run in TNA as "Okato" is responsible for so much of today's current wrestle scene in a Butterfly Effect manner.

Def turned out good because of how his career turned out but he has said before that he appreciates his time in the states because it helped him learn and it is apart of his character and how he was able to put together a piece of it to his Rain Maker character
