Yeah, I went and muted a bunch of words on Twitter. Also trying to make sure to be careful on places like Reddit for the next few days. Making sure my feed and comments are filtered to BEST/TOP instead of NEW, etc.

Spoiler Protection 2.0 is a dope add-on to avoid spoilers so use that if you can. Gonna have that on until the game drops.

Hope you guys have some storage space at the ready. The game was confirmed that the digital version is going to have at least a 100GB download.
And the physical version is going to be 2-disc.
I'm very glad I got a new external hard drive before this pandemic.

I got a good HD for it so I'll be good. I mean, I've got no problem deleting a game I haven't played in years.
Like, I haven't played Fallout 4 since I Platinumed the game years ago and I haven't bought the DLC yet due to high prices. I might as well delete that and I don't know, something else I'm not playing like Mafia 3 lmao.

Never finished it when I realized taking territory is all the same shit

Yea, the story, music and atmosphere was fun around it but the gameplay itself was lacking Like the whole giving your underbosses territory should have more weight then it does

The Last of Us 2 is a two disc game? I presume that has several connotations:
1. It's way more open world orientated than the first and / or; 2. It's basically a PS5 game slightly scaled back for PS4 and there will be the inevitable "remaster" when PS5 launches at Christmas / next year, which is really the game they made in the first place.
I don't see anyway a game similar to the first would require two discs. It was several years ago I played it so maybe I am forgetting a lot of stuff and just remembering the big moments but..... this news is confusing to me.

You were able to explore once you got to a new area but they kept it contained I can see this having a little more freedom in that regard. The sections you do go to will most likely be settlements and have big enough areas to explore. So it won’t be fully open world but sorta kinda in regards to the story fitting

Yea, I believe we did and I agree with that God of War is a big game and I think that type of situation works. The Last of Us 1 was like 12-15 hours long and that's mostly just talking story for the entire gameplay. God of War is about a 30 hour game and I think that fits a sweet spot. It doesn't need to be 40-50 hours unless you're talking challenges and end game shit to platinum the game

They didn’t say who it was because the investigation was ongoing but basically...yeah, narrative wasn’t what we thought it was.

They didn’t say who it was because the investigation was ongoing but basically...yeah, narrative wasn’t what we thought it was. More people probably now know about Naughty Dog's corporate culture as a result of wanting to find out why any employee would be disgruntled with the company. Even if (though?) it wasn't a disgruntled employee who leaked portions of the game, the leak itself still provides an excellent opportunity to talk about the labour culture of video games, and specifically how a company like Naughty Dog contributes to the problems of crunch, scope creep, and the lack of middle management organization that are endemic to a lot of game studios. That should be a win for all gamers.
