Let's take a minute to remember that odd, beautiful creature that was Brad Maddox. The stilted, uneasy promos. That time he was GM for some reason. Bane Maddox. The Paige Incident. Asking for help because he was trapped in a cave. Beef Mode. All of it. What was YOUR favourite Maddox Moment?

Brad Maddox's entire WWE run took place when I was estranged from wrestling, so to me he is some kind of mythical creature that I refuse to believe actually existed and is part of a shared Mandela effect among the wrestling fanbase.

I loved when he had a match with Ryback where if he won, he would get a contract and some large amount of money. (I forget if it was $100,000 or one million dollars). He had one of his buddies film what he did to prepare for the match all day, which mostly consisted of combing his hair. Before the match, he gets to the entrance curtain backstage, tells the guy that he can't come ringside but the next time he saw him, he would be a much richer man. A few minutes later, they were filming him leaving in an ambulance. Underrated funny moment.

The most I remember about him was the constant pronunciation of his last name as "Mad Ox" which proved to be as inexplicable as it was annoying.

Never really that big a fan, but the circumstances of his release still annoy me because it was blatantly just someone looking for an excuse to get rid of him.

I seem to remember he did some pretty funny comedy segments but his talking style didn't really translate to the WWE style of in ring promo. I liked him though.

I just miss calling him Brad "Mad Braddox, The Mad Ox" Maddox. I think he actually worked the indies as "Mad Braddox."

It was disapointing that we never got an official commissioner Mad Ox-Korporate Kane tag-team.

Convinced Vince or someone backstage is a big Office fan, first you had Adamle basically doing a Micheal Scott gimmick and then Maddox as the handsome but creepy young dude who got promoted ahead of his time and was out of his depth reminded me of Ryan a lot.
Can't really do a Dwight gimmick as Kurt Angle was Dwight before Dwight.

Didn't he get fired for calling someone a prick in a promo?

Didn't he get fired for calling someone a prick in a promo? At a house show, he went out to the crowd, turned to them, and called someone in the crowd a "cocky prick".

His firing seems a bit overkill then, I mean I could see their point if he called someone a prick on TV but I've heard far worse from wrestlers at house shows. I've seen Batista literally telling 10 year old kids to f*** off

Do I have to bust out my usual go to line about Maddox when he was around? Zero...redeeming...value.
