That team was very good, and was only getting better before DMC went down. I also think that moving Kuzma play the 4 and AD the 5 on defense, and have Rondo/Cousins coming off the bench is their best way forward They got better without them tho. Not an indictment on him per se, more so In today NBA it is hard to win with two skilled big me Him and AD were killing together and 10 years ago they would have had teams shitting on themselves but neither guy was a Knock down enough shooter from 3 to make a true difference However, in saying that since they got Cousins I kept saying if they get the 8th seed against GS with those two I can see them upsetting the Warriors This Lakers team is being build to directly counter GSW. Now that the Dubs aren't even in the top 2 in their own division, who knows what is going to happen

Anyone know if the Nike jerseys are still trash? I remember my sister had issues after buying some for her kids (tearing easily; numbers falling off), but I wanted to see about getting them new ones with all the player movement.

Knicks about to run RJ and 4 PFs on the court. How’s that for position-less basketball?

Sucks for the Spurs... but I’ll take any ounce of help Sacramento can get in the dogfight for the last few playoff spots.

Marcus Morris leaving San Antonio to play for the Knicks is a really peculiar move. He had the chance to sign with the most stable franchise in basketball, for a team that's consistently a winner and for one of the most well-respected coaches and organizations in the game, but instead is considering playing for one of the association's premiere laughingstocks with a buffoon owner and a franchise that hasn't won squat in about 50 years.

Also the Knicks already have like 50 forwards Also the extra 5 million when you consider the taxes in New York isn’t that much more Also if it’s about flexibility and trying free agency again next summer the San Antonio deal has a player option. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he’s a Rich Paul client and Pop reportedly talked to Demps about not trading Davis to the Lakers.

I guess he'd rather be the big fish than be a part of a stable team? Have fun losing a lot then dude.

That NOLA team would have done major damage

I know that the era of parity in basketball was among the worst times in NBA history, with no real superstars and teams like the Seattle SuperSonics and Washington Bullets winning championships on tape-delayed games, but I think the NBA has to be thrilled with the way this off-season has played out.
Look back to summer 2018, there were at best six teams that could enter the 2018-19 season saying they had a legitimate shot of hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy. (Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, Milwaukee, Houston, Golden State). But now, I'd say there's 11 teams that I'd say have a chance of winning it all. Sure, there's favorites like Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Utah, the Lakers, and the Clippers, but there's also a second tier of teams that could get hot next spring and ride that momentum all the way to a ring. They include Boston, Indiana, Houston, Golden State, Denver, and Portland.
Basketball matters again in cities where it hasn't mattered in a while and that's great news for the NBA as a whole.

Shaun Livingston was waived by the Warriors, which was expected. What wasn’t expected is that he wants to continue playing in the NBA. It was previously reported that he might retire.
A return to the Clippers would be nice, but I like the idea of him being a vet for Denver’s young team. They need guard depth anyway.

To be honest, not many people considered Toronto to be a legitimate title contender. The thinking of a lot of people/media was that Boston was going to face GS, with maybe Philly playing spoiler.

Considering Russell is only their for this year I still wonder what they do with Draymond. He’s going to want the max and Warriors May be weary of that

So not the full 4 like everyone reported. Interesting but makes sense George deal runs for 3 more years and he also has a player option for year 3 so basically they are on the same time frame

Looking 2 years ahead potential free agents could be LeBron, PG13, Kawhi, Giannis

I would’ve said Denver, but they signed Murray super early, which might take them out of the running.

Depends on what teams can clear cap and know how to use Draymond Miami if they don’t get westbrook would be a fit. He almost went to Det a few years ago so if they are able to get rid of Drummond I can see that happening. Murray getting the big contract from Denver doesn’t really matter as they are over the cap anyway and Milsap comes off the books Boston is also a target if they could get Hayward off the books during the off-season. Pelicans wouldn’t be bad either There’s no real clear destination for him out there just a lot of possibilities
