At this point, none of the talking heads care about the details they just want the 3 figure heads and then they will figure out the team For one, Kawhi I doubt is going to be LeBron attack dog. He is going to want his games off like he got this year. AD you have to manage because he is always injured and LBJ while still being a physical specimen suffered his first big injury and he's getting older so you don't want to risk shit with him either. If, someone gets injured and has to sit out they are f****ed. They are basically going to bank on names wanting to come for cheap. I do think they will get these names if they get Kawhi. I think Rondo comes back on the cheap and he'd be a vet they need. JR is a wildcard as we all know, Iggy would help put a big patch on things but he's getting older too. Even if they sign those 3, most likely JR and Rondo are starters and that leaves Iggy and Kuzma on the bench. They need to figure shit out but right now everything is one path to Kawhi in the hopes they get him cause if not, they probably sign a bunch of one year contracts and I could see them trying get Draymond next year who right now will be the biggest name in a weak class And as much as I like to make fun of Lebron being the virtual GM like he was in Cleveland, it really is on the actual GM Rob Palenka who is making this team an obvious team that probably won't win the title because of those depth issues. This is a team wide f*** up, everyone from Jeannie, Rob and LeBron are all gung ho about Kawhi and forgetting about the rest of the team because if they get Kawhi they can scoop up vets for cheap probably but if not they are scaveging to basically get a decent option as a 3rd player which may be a broken down Cousins Report yesterday I believe said they don't want to contact Kawhi and rush him for fear of angering him

The Lakers might think theyβre rushing him if they follow up, but then he feels like theyβre not trying hard enough if they donβt. Lol

My Mom knowing very little about basketball said she'll get me a Hornets jersey for my birthday in September. I love her but man that's the worst timing. Who do I even get? Bridges?

Lol I believe I saw something that said Kawhi is testing how bad the Lakers want him Could be true, could not be true. What should not go unnoticed is the fact Danny Green is waiting on him. He's had a deal with Dallas on the table since day 1 and he's been waiting. I think if Danny has any idea Kawhi is leaving, he's doing him ASAP. I don't see Toronto fully out the water and give them a better than decent chance of bringing Kawhi back

Here is how I think the best case scenario for the Lakers could work out if they sign Kawhi
PG Rondo - I think he comes back on a vet deal and him and AD got along really well in NO SG- Darius Miller - He can low key shoot and they need a guy who can stretch the floor plus he's young SF - Kawhi PF - LBJ C - AD
Bench C - Cousins - This is assuming they can get him to sign the min or give him their mid level exception. Him and AD had a good connect in NO as well as him playing with Rondo in NO and SAC F - Iggy - He's rumored to be on the move their once he gets a buyout F - Kuzma - Their sixth man and wildcard G JR Smith - Another rumored name coming once he gets his release G Caruso - He can play but who knows if they give him time but he's on the squad F Horton-Tucker - He won't see any burn as a rookie C - Joahkim Noah - Why not? LeBron buried the hatchet with Lance and could do so with Noah
Last 3 names I got no clue on Maybe a Lance return at the minimum A return of Pau Gasol to bring back some old flavor Shumpert to bring over another LeBron buddy and someone that could play at anytime

^^^ thatβs pretty much exactly how I see it happening.
On one hand, FXXX THE LAKERS.
But at least Boogie would get his ring for real this year. May as well just cancel the season so no one can get hurt and the already injured guys can recover.

Tell her get you an Alonzo Mourning throwback Definitely a throwback. Muggsy or Grandmama would be acceptable as well. π Or if want something a little more in the 2000's, can get a Baron Davis jersey too since he was on the team before they moved to New Orleans

Didn't they tell him the Knicks were gonna get KD before the Nets did.

Please be right, Jalen. We can compromise and Kawhi can have LA in two years when LeBron is toast. Just no more superteams please.

Stephen A said that Kyrie and KD both coming to the Knicks was in the bag and then a week later said it was the Nets. Seems to be the case. From all intents and purposes Nets were recruiting Irving for at least a month with Dinwiddie being the figure head behind it and then DeAndre Jordan joined in as well pitching for Brooklyn instead of the Knicks

If it were my choice between home and Toronto, I would stay in Toronto for 2 years with a 1 year opt for obvious reasons that would probably not be appropriate for this board.
