Knicks is somehow smoking Houston This is the downside of small ball, if you aren't hitting an ungodly amount of 3's then you aren't getting O rebounds for extra possessions and that one and done style is going to kill you Shannon Sharpe made a real good point today about this game. When you play a bad team, if you stomp on them early, they go away. But if you let a bad team linger around, they will really claw their way in because they realize they have a chance to beat not just a good team, but one of the top teams in the league. This does also show that the Rockets could be in trouble come the playoffs. You can't get out rebounded by 30 against the Lakers, Clippers, or Nuggets and expect to get by them.

Popovich isn't going to be at the Spurs game tonight due to a personal matter, so Tim Duncan will fill in as substitute head coach for tonight's game.

Also it's the most Knicksian thing ever that their big win over Houston, with their big rookie leading the charge, is completely overshadowed by a fight between Spike Lee and James "thinner-than-paper skin" Dolan.

Somehow Alex Len has transformed into the greatest defender in the history of basketball since being traded to Sac.

Big collapse from Boston in the 4th against the Nets Caris LeVert finished with 51 points I know he was injured earlier, but it's crazy how quickly the Nets forgot how good LeVert was last year. It was like as soon as Kyrie showed up, his role decreased like crazy. LeVert is way better than Dinwiddie IMO.

Then Diniwiddie took over for about 20 games and at the same D'Lo was turning up and then he started going crazy from Jan on LeVert is better then Dinwiddie. Dinwiddie is a bucket but I do not like him as a starter because he's downhill and just trying to get to the basket and draw fouls. He's a damn good sixth man which is where the Nets will be dangerous next year with him coming off the bench for Kyrie. LeVert tho is a low key good piece that Kyrie/KD need to make sure they feed. That man can average 20 without trying and be a viable option as long as KD/Kyrie are willing to give up some touches so he can eat

Not shooting great percentages, but he's clearly still worth a bigger role than they gave him.

Embarrassing. Dolan no doubt wrote this I'm kind of with the Knicks on this one. Spike Lee isn't a media member, he's not a team employee, and he's not a person with a disability, so he shouldn't just be allowed to walk through that entrance because he's Spike Lee and he's been ubiquitous on the sideline for three decades. All he had to do was walk two blocks south, but he instead decided to cause a scene and go on national television to complain about it. The Knicks, being the Knicks, absolutely bungled the response to this and have made themselves the antagonists in all of this because of their own incompetence, but I really can't blame them for telling a celebrity to walk two blocks south and use the VIP entrance because he thought he was entitled to a media/employee/disabled entrance just because he's rich and famous.

I think Spike is being a little dramatic. The whole "lock me up like my brother Oakley" is doing way too much because I do think Oak was in the wrong for that incident he had. However, Spike is essentially an employee. That man is synonymous with the Knicks and has literally spent millions as a fan on that team. He isn't just some regular celebrity, he's the ambassador of that team and reps them everywhere he goes through the worst of times. The Knicks owe him a debt of gratitude. Is it a big deal to have to walk 2 blocks? No, not really but it is the principle. Treat your biggest fan with some respect and Dolan being a big bitch has done some sucker shit. He's literally kicked people out the arena for saying he should sell the team. So yeah, i'm with Spike on this because he is def on a diff standard and if it wasn't a problem before then it shouldn't have been a problem now
